Hi there, I have tried all the recommended method to fix the black screen problem on my Charge 3 but it still doesn't work.
- Connected to power and press it for 15 seconds. [Still black screen]
- changed clock face [ Still black screen]
So I just have to accepted that this is Fitbit? This is Charge 3 and fall this rubbish away?

Hello,
I'm having the same issue and the screen has been blank for more than a week. I've tried the reset suggestions multiple times on different days and it isn't coming back. I even let the battery fully die before trying to charge and reset again and it didn't work. I've had my Charge 3 since mid-July 2019.

I purchased my Fitbit at the end of November 2019. My screen is starting to go black, as well. There are streaks of blackness across the face and portions of the face are no longer visible. I was searching for a solution and have tried restarting and changing the clock face. The streaks are still there. Is there anything else that I can do to restore my display? Thank you.

The same happened to me and nothing seems to be working. The resetting, changing clock faces... How much would it cost to fix ? Assuming it's not on warranty ? I've been trying to get this fixed for some time now.

I ended up contacting support and got help with the issue. Seems to be better than trying to get help in the forums.

I've been having the same issue with my Charge 3. Tried all the troubleshooting tips and still get black screen. Please escalate my problem to support team as well. Thanks.

I’d just throw it away. Im on my second Charge 3 for the same issues and was just offered a 25% off coupon to purchase another one. I bought my first one at the end of 2018 had to have it replaced in June of 2019 and today again the screen is black. I don’t know about you but I can’t keep throwing away almost 200.00 a year for a product that doesn’t last. I’ve been a huge supporter of fit bit since I purchased the HR then a Charge 2 and finally the Charge 3 but now I’ll take my business elsewhere. I hope you were able to resolve your issue.

I have the same issues. I called for support and since I tried all the available options and they did not correct the issue or offer any other help. I was offered 25% off a predetermined list of Fitbit watches/chargers that were not comparable to my Fitbit Charger 3. I found the customer service agents both online and via a phone call very rude. I will not purchase another Fitbit product even after being a customer since Fitbit was offered to the public-I am going to purchase the Apple watch where I can get service. The management of Fitbit needs to guide their employees on being more Customer Friendly and Oriented toward the customer. Very disappointed in Fitbit Customer Service.

my replacement is now giving me the black screen. this is the second time. i cant throw away 200 either. i expect that when i pay 200$ that it will last more then a month. for that price it should last at least 2 years. tried to go back to using my charge 2 and it wont sync. i used to be a huge fan of fitbit. Even got my sister and her husband into it, is it too much to ask for a device that properly works anymore? I find it unacceptable to pay so much for something that doesn't work. Does anyone know of a fitness tracker that does work?

I bought my Charge 3 after my Fitbit Blaze stopped working, but now my Charge 3 screen is black. I have tried plugging it into power and holding the button for 15 seconds. Still no changes in the screen light. Will Fitbit send me a replacement? I was considering buying a versa lite, but not if the products will continue to let me down after nine months

Yea, I am thinking of just skipping it altogether, but I would miss out on the sleep tracking and Workweek Hustle/Weekend Warrior things. I just want to know what they are doing for their community

Hi all, i have got the same problem with my fit-bit charge 3, i got it from my parents as a Christmas present 2018, please can i get some advice because i really loved using my fit-bit and miss it so much.

Sad to see so many people having the same issues with the Charge 3. I've given up. This is my 2nd Charge 3 with the same issue. Never resolution from Fitbit other than to give 25% discount towards purchase of a new one. Not going to do it this time. Just got an Apple iWatch. We'll how that works. Good luck to everyone
