Charge 3 black screen

Hi I have tried to reset my Fitbit, update it I’ve tried everything! It is syncing to my phone but the watch just has a blank screen. It isn’t even 12 months old

I have the same problem

Trying find a solution.  No success so far

Let me help you with this. @Jaz2021 thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Since the issue persists I have created a ticket so our Support team can further assist you via email.

 

@Ncur you don't mention any troubleshoots so please restart your tracker by doing the following:

 

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Disconnect your tracker from the charging cable.

Thanks for sharing this. It turns out that after trying all the restart
procedures and contacting Fitbit support that I need to replace my Charge
3. Fitbit support was very responsive and helpful.

So that is what I am doing.

I bought mine from amazon and luckily they have accepted a return for a refund. I do t think I’ll be purchasing a fit bit again I expect it to last longer than 11 months

Mine was 7 months
They are sending me a replacement so will see how long this one lasts

My Charge HR too,it does not display screen. Only sync when i used cable charge,it display 100% batterry on app. but the time will not be displayed if the cable is removed.

I am having similar problems. My screen is black, my. Charge 3 won’t sync. It is only a few months old. So disappointed. 6years of using FitBits and the charge 3 has been nothing but trouble.

I am having the same problem.  Tried all the advice listed here and nothing has worked, screen still black. I  don't have or want Twitter,  not sure how to get in contact with support to get my issue resolved.

What did they tell you?  I have tried rebooting it, my screen is still blank.

They asked if I did all the restart procedures. They then tracked my charge
3 online as I did another restart for them.

Came to the conclusion my unit is defective and are sending me a
replacement

I got in contact online with customer support. They walked me through some reboots, but screen is still blank. Since mine is under warranty will be receiving a replacement. Very quick and efficient help.

I’m glad to hear it, their support is great. Sadly my warranty ran out on
Christmas Day. Guess I’m stuck with a broken Fitbit which was not caused
by me.
