Charge 3 died and won't start

Having used my new charge 3 for less than a week, I started having issues today. When I took it off my hand, the green light at the back didn't stop flashing. I couldn't turn it on with touchscreen. I thought maybe battery has gone flat and I plugged in the charger, it vibrated, restarted it and got smiley face. It was ok for few hours and then it started vibrating non stop until it died and turned off. I was unable to switch it on since then. It doesn't charge, doesn't vibrate when trying to connect to the charger - but it gets very hot after leaving it for few minutes on the charger. I followed instructions to try to restart it but no luck. Has it just died permanently or is there anything I can do?

There were too many issues with charging of the Charge3. I returned my
Charge3 and have already received my refund from Amazon. I plan on buying
the Fitbit Aura HR.

My Fitbit charge 3 has suddenly died. The green light on the back comes on if I push in… If I push the power button on the side I feel it vibrate, but the screen is black, nothing happens. I charged it… Same thing. Not sure exactly what I’m doing here, but I’m trying to get added to the open case file. My Fitbit charge three has suddenly died. Same problem here, just died screen blank has charge and was working, unable to reset whilst on charger, feel the vibrations when I hold the button.

I hope there's a fix only had a few months.

It actually did fix my problem when I held the button and while it was connected to the charger… It took a good 30 seconds or more, but I finally saw the smiley face and everything was reset, and all good now. Good luck!

I have no screen when I hit the button on my charge 3 it vibrates but still no screen I’ve also tried plugging it in nothing is working to get my screen too come on

Try holding the button in while it is attached to charger… Hold it until the smiley face comes up. It might take 30 seconds or more. Best wishes 😁

I tried that didn’t work and my battery is full and everything else is working except no screen and I just purchased it on Black Friday

I've tried to reset with the charger connected to PC and a wall socket it just vibrates and no smiley face, it looks like it will be the seven day reset for me, hopefully when the battery dies it will reset my charge 3, not much else I can do at the moment.

Just tried the charger reset for about the 18th time and it worked, really strange, but so glad it did.

I have tried everything and nothing is working getting nothing on my Fitbit 3 the watch is showing nothing on watch face

Put it on charger and hold button in until you get smiley face can take a minute or so    That’s what I did it took a few times befor it worked good luck

So my charge 3 died. My first issues I was having was syncing. My phone said synced but my everything would be different from my watch. So I reset the Bluetooth, I reset my phone, I reloaded the apps and made sure the updates were complete. I rest my watch. Nothing. Then out of no where it starts buzzing on the counter. Like crazy. It was fully charged so it ran a while. Then nothing but darkness. It has been less than a 6 months since I bought it. I’m so used to having it on my wrist and I absolutely loved it while it worked. I had finally upgraded from the charge 2 bc it’s water resistant more than the other. I’m sad to not wear it anymore absolutely will be wome timw before I cannot afford another. 😞

Hook it up to the charger hold button in wait for it to cycle through 3 min then it will give you a smiley face once it’s done cycling through

I had this problem, had to hold power button while on charge, worked after about twenty tries, so don't give up.

Yeaaaah.....I'd like to say it worked....sure. Fitbit3 on again, off again. Not a good track record I see. This model appears to be a lemon. If you know how to get it on, please tell. I see no consistency in the posts!
