Charge 3 display corrupted

My Charge 3, which is about 6 weeks old has developed a dead horizontal line about 1/5 of the way down the screen. It's like a dead pixel, but extends right across the screen and always remains black. It's not too much of a problem; info is still easy to read, but it's clearly a fault and may get worse. I intend to return it for an exchange, but am posting to let other users know about this issue.

They know at this point but just refuse to acknowledge it and do something about it.

Have a moment of silence for your unit, then contact customer service.

Wow, that tells me they don't care about their customers at all !! I was hoping they'd fix the Charge 3 issues & send those previously loyal customers a new tracker as a sign of good will!!!
Can you imagine the outpouring of positive reviews !!!

Cynically, I believe in unicorns too. That would be an acknowledgement of a
faulty product, and most companies don't do that willingly

I want my money back, not another replacement of the faulty device. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Unfortunately that's highly unlikely. They may have offered a refund if it
went out soon after the purchase(the retailer may have done that). If they
have already replaced it, you may be offered a discount on another unit. I
went down to the Inspire line and have had better luck.

They should refund if it's demonstrated that the default is structural. Seeing the number of complaints and reccurrence of the same problem, it's obvious we're far beyond the 6-sigma threshold.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Very true, but it won't happen. Perhaps things will be different under
Google ownership

Amen to that!  You definitely have a point there!  The one I have now again that I got as yet another replacement and cashed in on my extended 2 year warranty is doing that same thing.  And I only got it in February!  I'm now up to about 6 lines running across it....
