My Charge 3, which is about 6 weeks old has developed a dead horizontal line about 1/5 of the way down the screen. It's like a dead pixel, but extends right across the screen and always remains black. It's not too much of a problem; info is still easy to read, but it's clearly a fault and may get worse. I intend to return it for an exchange, but am posting to let other users know about this issue.

Hi, not sure if it is worth mentioning but I have screen corruption when my Charge is low on power (sub 15%). I have found it useful in a way as I then charge it and no longer have the issue. Also, try rebooting the Charge 3. I do this by going to Settings>About>Reboot Device on the Charge 3. Hope this helps and would be interested in your findings.

Can the Reboot option on the device also accomplish same result? Settings>About>Reboot Device

I am having the same issue with the display. Mine is a year old. Restart did not help.

Fitbit have already replaced my charge 3 once already because of the lined display and now the same has happened with the replacement. I have now had 2 charge 3's in 10 months.
Fitbit are offering me ANOTHER charge 3 replacement, which after my experience I'm not enthused about OR 50% off another tracker. This means I do not recover the full price I paid out for my original tracker PLUS I spend more to upgrade. Frustrated

Thanks Salamidcl. I was considering the Versa 2 but i do begrudge spending out more money because Fitbit do not provide a credit note for the full value of my charge 3.

I am also experiencing similar problems except I have 6 lines both vertical and horizontal.... looks like a grid. The pixels are also starting to fade and is difficult to read. I bought my fitbit at Target last spring.

Hi. I have also tried the long reset and still show the corrupted screen. It did not go into water I just woke up and the screen looked this way like many others. I have scrolled through the posts and can see the only solution is they got it replaced under warranty. Mine would not be under warranty as it was bought in December 2018 and as it seems to be a bug with the product not damage I was wondering if there I is there anything else that can be done?

I have tried to restart and reset my Fitbit 3 as suggested but the screen pixels are still broken. Is this device faulty and need replacing?

It is a common problem. Fitbit just made a bad product.
When I bought my Charge 3, I was very happy with the device. I've talked about it with every single one of my friends. But now, an year later, I'm very disappointed. My display had this glitch and they did nothing to solve the problem, it occurred less than 2 months after my warranty ended.
I'm very sad with this situation. I really loved the product and trusted the company. But now I see that it's all an illusion, everyone is having the same problem and this tells me that they really don't care about the product they're selling.
I was thinikg about buying an Oura Ring but didn't because I thought my Fitbit Charge was enough. Then I started to think about upgrading my band to a more sophisticated one... Now I'll just buy an Oura Ring
Do not trust this company.

So, my Fitbit Charge 3 started showing that dead pixel line along the top of the clock digits like how another person mentioned. It had that issue for a couple days, and I figured it was going to eventually get worse but it may be a while. I looked down at my Fitbit a few minutes ago, and now the screen just cycles through this pixel static whenever the screen turns on. I've had this Fitbit model since maybe August or September of 2019; I bought it in response to my previous Fitbit Alta also malfunctioning and dying.
