Hi my new charge 3 is blank and when I charge it and try to restart it using the side button it just vibrates with a blank screen.

Welcome on board @Uniqua  and @Megairis! Thanks for trying to restart your Charge 3 devices in order to solve the issue with the blank screen.

As @ppockets  and @SunsetRunner have suggested, please try changing the clock face to a different one to bring the display back. The steps can be found at How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

Give this a go and let us know the outcome!

I got it to work by putting it on the charger..it was already charged..and hold the side button down for about 15 seconds and then take it off the charger and do it again and it started rebooting and is fine now. Thanks for responding I'll keep your method in mind.

Hope your replacement lasted longer than 3 months!

I have had 2 Charge 3's in 4 months and they have BOTH had screens that just went 'blank'!!

I am currently waiting for a response from customer support.

I am losing faith in this product!!

Go to the app on your phone and change the clock face of your watch This will then update your watch to the new face and it will work again You can then change it back if you want to

Thanks I tried that but I just got 'Your Fitbit is not connected'

There's obviously a major flaw in this product for so many people to have the same problem!!

I have the same problem, were you able to resolve?

Best Answer

I did. I hadn’t worn it in a VERY long time. It just took many tries to fully charge and then sync with my phone. Finally got it and it works like a charm now.

I am waiting to hear back from Customer Support.

This is extremely frustrating as this is my 2nd Fitbit in 4 months, they replaced the first one one when the same problem arose and could not be fixed!!
