Charge 3 fading screen

the display on my charge 3 is barely visible (have done both restarts) as well as setting the display to ‘normal,  I also notice the top of my display (currently time) does not fully show. The top of the numbers are missing.

 

is this the ‘beginning of the end’ of my Fitbit?
