Charge 3 has stopped vibrating

My Charge 3 has stopped vibrating for all notifications. I've checked all settings on my Fitbit and phone and all is set correctly but still no vibration!!!

I’ve only had my charger 3 for 2 months. I love it. But the main use for me is the vibration for phone messages and alarms. However the last week the vibrations come and go.  I have reset, removed from app and reinstalled, reset all notifications and alarms etc.  it still randomly stops vibrating. I over slept this morning because my watch didn’t vibrate. Don’t know what to do 😞

Make sure the vibration setting is on. Sometimes when you knock it accidentally it will turn them off !!!

I have a 7 Edge did the firmware update now no longer works on the vibration for any notification so that being said do not download the firmware cuz you'll lose your notifications vibrations unless someone has a fix for it

My fitbit charge 3 has also been having the no vibration issue for over a week now. It doesn't even do the little vibration it used to do when you touch the button on the side. I have tried everything including checking the vibration and notification settings on the fitbit, multiple restarts, clearing data from the fitbit itself, I pairing from the app and re-pairing, deleting the app and reinstalling and checked permissions on the app to make sure they didn't change. Help! I got this for mother's day so I haven't even had it very long and notifications was one of the key features I wanted it for!

My wife did not update her charge 3 with the firmware and her watch is working awesome so don't do it. I updated my charge 3 with firmware and does not work anymore no more notifications no more vibrating the way I see it if it ain't broke don't fix it

I am having the same issue.

I have restarted the tracker while plugged into it's dock, restarted my phone, and updated all hardware. All settings on both my tracker and my phone are set correctly.

Nothing helps and my Fitbit has been basically useless for everything I purchased it for.

The vibrating capabilities for notifications never worked on my Charge.  I dont even receive notifications when I did when I had my Alta HR which I loved!!

Exactly the same issue here. New update for S7 edge and now no vibrations. Did you solve this?

I contacted fitbit support and they ran me through some steps to try to fix it but it still didn't work so they sent me a replacement  If you contact support just make sure you have your charger with you when you do because you need it to try one of their fixes.

Hi everybody.

I have the same problem mentioned by katiefff and did all the steps too.

My Fitibit starts to switching vibrate off and after a while, it backs to on for some reason that I still didn´t get it. All settings are correct...

Any help will be available.

Hi Katiefff, Did you get it figured out? I did the same exact things and it still isn't vibrating for me.

I eventually reached out to fitbit support and they walked me through a few steps to try to get it working again (make sure you have your charger handy if you do this as you will need it to complete all of your tests). They ended up sending me a replacement fitbit since these steps did not help.

IMHO we found a bug on Fitbit’s firmware. For some unknown reason, it keeps turning on/off the vibration.

I would like to test it with a prior firmware in order to confirm my theory. Is it possible to downgrade it?

I have this same problem my charge three automatically for no reason stoped vibrating for alarms, notifications and all reasons the watch should. I have rebooted the device and have held down the side and restarted it, screen wake and notifications are on as well but no vibrations.
