It seems that Charge 3 has a bug that stop vibrating out of blue. Fitbit, now a Google company, has to pay attention to this very carefully. I’m moving away from a company that honors a warranty based only on authorized resellers and not in its product. Bye Fitbit.. hello Apple Watch.

No vibration for texts, alarms, notifications and phone calls is the pits.  Started after iOS 13.3 updated phone.  Wish Apple and Fitbit would get fixed.  Tried all the fixes, still no vibration.  My Charge 3 isn’t that old.

Mine is working fine again now after I checked all my settings. They must
have reset themselves after the iPhone update.
I found the below very helpful and now working.

Good luck 😀

I found this very helpful and mine is now working. Since the iPhone update all the settings had changed themselves.

I have had a Fitbit for many years, but if this issue doesn't get fixed I
may jump ship.

I ran into that problem this week on my Charge 3, too. The vibration was completely off: it did not work when the button was pressed, nor in breathing exercises, nor in notifications, nor in alarms and coundown. I tried to restarting the device as support said, but it didn't work.
However, after the next actions, the vibration started to work again (don't forget to sync your data before continue):

1. on device: Settings - About - Clear User Data (hard reset process)

2. on app: Account (your portrait) - Charge 3 (device name) - Remove This (device name)

3. on phone: turn Bluetooth off and then turn it on

4. on app: Set Up a Device (and go trought the process of pairing as your first time)

5. then I run Timers - Countdown for 15s and only then the vibration started to work again (but not previously).

After this steps it works like before all the time.

Sorry to hear that. This Fitbit is only about 7 months old (don't know if
that has anything to do with it). As I said my problem started after the
iOS 13.3 download. I did not start immediately, but a few weeks later, and
at one point my Fitbit started vibrating for a very short time (like hours).

My Fitbit is working fine now since the iOS 13.3.1 download (back to the way
it was in early December). In fact I just got a text message and it
vibrated like it is supposed to. I am going to stay positive about this
turn of events. I will say this though, all the fixes that were suggested
and that I tried, made for a bit of work getting everything back to the way
it was in early December.

In my case, I noticed that the vibration was working only sometimes, and that giving the fitbit a little whack made it temporarily work again, as if the vibrating mechanism were gummed up.

I then washed it in the sink with soap and water (since the Charge 3 is waterproof) and it seems to be working consistently since then.  Could be just a coincidence, but I hope that helps you or someone else.

I have the same problem on charge 3.

it stared doing this about 5 months after I had the watch.

Sorry to hear that. Mine is vibrating for some functions associated with
the Charge 3, but anything associated with my I Phone it still just gets the
alert but won't vibrate. Notification of phone calls and texts is important
to me. As a result I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy Fit, which is okay
but has its drawbacks. It overshares (too many notifications) and battery
life is about half to two thirds of the battery life of Charge 3. When I
need to charge the Galaxy I wear my Charge 3.

I am hopeful that the next time there is an update for the phone that the
vibration for the text messages and phone calls will fix itself.

Good Morning Pat,

I hate to tell you this, but I don't know if this issue will ever be
resolved. My research has found that the issue is between Apple and the
owners of the Fitbit Company (Google). I have an I-Phone, so I don't know
if other phones have the same problem. Recently after my Charge 3 synced
and updated, the vibration for texts and phone calls came back to life.
However, it only lasted for maybe an hour. The vibration feature for other
notifications is working.
