I think there's an actual issue with my fitbit but thought I'd post in here to see if anyone else was experiencing a similar issue.
I bought my charge 3 just under two weeks ago. Last Friday, I noticed my screen looked faded and had white lines running through it. I have tried to reset it three times as generally suggested with no such luck.
I haven't damaged it in any way and I've continued to wear it in the shower as I wasn't concerned due to it being waterproof. The day the faded screen/lines appeared was when the battery was very low - but that's the only thing I can think of and surely a low battery should'nt lead to this?
Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated before I have to take it back. I've tried to add a picture to this thread but can't for some reason.
Many Thanks

I'm on my second replacement the first one I bought I'd had 4 months the first replacement lasted 14 months then the same issue they tried to offer me money off. I kicked up a stink went to trading standards as its a common fault and they still sell them with out fixing it. Fix bit then decided I could have more money off or a replacement. But I don't hold out any hope for it to last

I've had fit bits for years and loved them was made up with the charge 3 till it went wrong. My hubby and son have the charge 2 and its been brilliant. When my 3 went wrong for the second time as it was over a year old I didn't hold out any hope so braught a hauwai band 4 Pro. And it's brilliant and a lot cheaper

I was offered 25% and refused it mean while I'd kicked off on twitter and every advert I could find on social media then spoke to trading standards as soon as I told fitbit that they upped the offer of 50% or another charge 3

Can someone tell us what the support team has found out about the cause and solution to the "lines on screen" problem? Please list these for us.
Thank you.

This just happened to me 2 days ago. I did nothing to it. Took it off to take a shower when I picked it back to put it on i noticed the white lines. Its also not sensitive to my touch anymore and isn't allowing me access to certain screens because it's not recognizing my touch. Please help!

Fitbit support is useless. The trackers last 1 to 2 years and fail. The straps have been famously poor quality over the years. Whats going to happen when you call support is, they focus on how long you have had the device, not to try and fix the problem. They will find the solution is to buy another one, directly from them, and they will be kind enough to give you 20% off. What we need is something reliable and when there is a problem an honest answer about the fixes that work for the issue. Also a warranty that is at least 2 years would be helpful. I hate to switch to a competitors device after using fitbit devices for a few years and I also have the Fitbit brand scales which links to my profile with my tracker.
Can someone spill the beans? What has Fitbit been telling you (hush hush) when you call up about the "lines across screen" issue? We know the device is flakey and they act so surprised and upset when we tell them about the problem, like they've never heard about it before.
Everyone, please give your input on how they handled this for you.

Contact customer services tell them you have tried a reset and changing the watch face and ask them what they are going to do. Most of all don't be fobbed off
