Charge 3 is constantly vibrating and screen going on and off

All of a sudden the Fitbit keeps vibrating then the screen keeps switching between click face and the notification screen. Had to take it off. The charge is at 42% so it’s not battery life.

Hi! My Fitbit charge 3 is doing the same thing. I’ve tried the hard restart described here but the Fitbit doesn’t respond at all—the button does not vibrate or respond when I push it.

What now?

Hi I would contact Fitbit’s customer service and tell them they may replace
it for you. That’s what they did with mine.

My Charge 3 is doing the same thing. It started last night. It is flashing between screens and vibrating. The battery is draining quickly. This thing is not very old. I got it sometime around Christmas. I have tries all of the suggestions listed in the thread to no avail. Fitbit please help.

I contacted customer service.  The agent suggested a couple more potential fixes, to no avail.

It was taking over 12 hours to fully charge it and then it drained in less than 4.  I got mine in October.  I am hoping that it's not a glitch for every device...but it doesn't sound promising...

They are sending a new one.

Hi all I can say is contact Fitbit customer service and they’ll sort this
issue out for you. I believe this is becoming a common fault with the
Charge 3. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen to all Charge 3’s.

Hope you get this sorted soon

I had similar problem when GPS was enabled in the Run/Walk apps. As soon as I disabled GPS (via the phone on Charge 3), the problem went away. There are instructions in the user manual on disabling GPS.

Posting this to the forum, in case anyone else is looking for a solution.

I am having this issue also, it started yesterday, the charge is at about 70%, it just keeps vibrating and flickering screens.  I have did both troubleshooting steps (8 and 15 seconds).  This is my second device that was replaced, the first also had this issue.  New device since January.  Any other ideas.

Thanks in Advance

@MarreFitbit  has Fitbit determined what is causing this problem with the Charge 3 trackers and have they done anythingto fix the issue? They are sending me a replacement but now I am concerned this could happen with the replacement after the warranty expires.

I’m sorry they haven’t actually admitted that there is an issue it was just
a presumption on my part as since I’ve posted on this forum a lot of other
people have and there were others before me. All I can say is since I’ve
had my replacement I’ve had no further issues. So hopefully you won’t
either.
