Charge 3 is constantly vibrating and screen going on and off

All of a sudden the Fitbit keeps vibrating then the screen keeps switching between click face and the notification screen. Had to take it off. The charge is at 42% so it’s not battery life.

The bottom line on the charge 3 is that they are total garbage. There are HUNDREDS of responses with these issues. But Fitbit does not care. They just want you to buy another one. Had to have the first one replaced because of the lines across the screen issue, and replacement has them too only 6 months later. Now the vibrating and can't get it to be recognized or turn on at all now. It's basically bricked. Total junk products.  All of these 'solution' troubleshooters just tell you the steps to reboot and then it never works! Total and complete garbage products and support. How many thousands of replies on this stuff are needed? They must be really cheap to make or they wouldn't send replacements so easily. Garbage. Garbage. Garbage.

Mine vibrates like crazy. Then goes to screen lock/notifications screen and switches off. I have rebooted, changed clock faces. Re added devise to app. Last night it went on. Battery 100% (usually lasts a week) and then a line came across screen and a smiley face. Seemed to be working. Then stopped 10 minutes after putting it on. The pulse light is still on and when I touch side button it vibrates. Only had it for about 6 months

Does not work for me and my battery has all of a sudden started dying within 2 hours from a full charge!
It starts buzzing on my wrist and then it see it’s gone from 100% to 5% in 2 hours or less.

I started having the same problem yesterday. Tried the 8 second restart and the 15 second restart and no luck. I am unable to change the clock face since the fitbit will not sync in order for me to change the clock face. Has anyone had any luck with this other than having to open a support case?

Mine will sync and I managed to change the clock face but my battery has drained 50% in one hour. I did a Fitbit chat and their solution was to offer me 25% off a new device. I have only had this one for 1 year so I don't think that is an appropriate life expectancy nor is it an appropriate solution. There is something wrong on their end with the latest update.

I am fed up with Fitbit to be honest. I always have trouble with the app syncing and have to open and close it multiple times in the morning. The chat person NEVER told me where "all day sync" was in settings and I distinctly remember being offer this as a pop up in the last week to which I hit "yes" thinking it would solve the app syncing issue. Now there is nowhere in settings to find "all day sync" to turn it off on my phone (I have an iPhone not android where this feature has supposedly been removed) or computer- I think this has been programmed deliberately to force people to buy new devices. I will not buy another Fitbit. I'm going to use my son's versa for a while instead- although that had a blank screen last time I charged it! And then proceed with getting an Apple Watch.

Yes, they only offered 25% discount for new purchase. It means they know that the product is no good. It is really problematic.

My Charge 3 died 2 days after the warranty expiration. I now see that there are 26 pages on their support message page around the same problem. I, too, was offered a 25% discount on another one, but this is the problem. They are well aware that the Charge 3 has many issues and are unwilling to provide their customers any flexibility on the now useless warranties.

Remember, they've been purchased by Google and have a market cap of $787 billion. They've lost this customer.

This is also happening to me, I tried to reset several times (both 8 and 15 seconds) to no avail.  What are the next steps?

Give up. If it's under the 1. year warranty they may replace it. Otherwise
they may send you a 25% discount on another. I'm looking into anything but
Fitbit.

Mine starting having this problem a few days ago - literally a week after the 1 year warranty ended. After reading this thread it’s clear there’s no fix and they don’t care so congrats Fitbit you’re losing another customer. Anyone have another fitness watch they recommend?

I had an older one. HR maybe? Lost it out of my band! Had been changing to different colors. Compatible band so not the one that came with it. Never had an issue with it not syncing or losing connection. In fact I could be working outside in my yard & I would get notifications from my phone that was in the house.
