Charge 3 screen went blank

Got this yesterday and the screen is already black and won’t turn on. Very very disappointed, looks like it’s a common issue. I’d rethink getting this, a shame it’s so common for the anticipation of this...

I'm having the same problem reported by many people. The screen is blank. I've restarted several times. Changed the clock face. Today I updated the firmware. The screen remains blank. It still syncs but this has become quite frustrating. I used my first Fitbit for 2 years. I've had this one for less than a year and the screen has not worked for 3 months.

Contact customer support if it's less than one year then the warranty is still good and they will send a new one, minus the wrist straps.

Only that they sent me a new one, I tried all the resets and changing clock face. Nothing worked.

My screen went black yesterday I woke in the am it was vibrating once every 3-5 seconds. I charged battery it showed 8% then went dark again.I have tried restarting it multiple times. It was still synching so I wore it all day to count my steps looked on phone. This am it woke me again with the vibration every 3-5 seconds and now nothing, not syncing with phone or vibrating when I press side button. How do I apply for a claim as I bought it in May of this year. Thank you for any help

I see people mentioning rebooting their Charge 3 to help with a black screen.... how do I do it?

Charge 3 repeatedly has screen go blank and must reset. Eventually reboot didn't work. Under the 1 year warranty yet so I received a replacement body. Charged it last night, linked it to Droid OS phone, added some user settings. Went to bed. 2 hours later, I wake up and face blank. Battery 85%. Reboot it. Minutes later, blank. Reboot. 2 hours later, wake up and display yet again won't light up. Reboot and change clock face (to 1 of the analogue). I do not want to carry the charger around to keep rebooting it. What is a better solution to this issue please?
