I've had my Charge 3 a little over a month. Last night my screen went blank. It was at 100% battery. It is still syncing with the app so I can see that it is still tracking my steps and sleep, etc. When I tried to restart it by placing it on the charger and holding down the side button for 8 secs. When I hold the button down it does a very quick pulse vibe about 4 times and then nothing. I've tried holding it longer than 8 secs also and still nothing. Very frustrated to be having this issue with a brand new product. Contemplating returning the one I bought my husband for Christmas and returning mine as well if not resolved immediately.

Mine just went blank. I’ve tried this reset that they told us. It is not working.

I have used Fitbit for over 5+ years. This is the first time I’ve had the screen issue. And my charge three is not that old. There’s definitely got to be a glitch in the system. Especially since it’s happening to so many people. Hopefully they find the bug somewhere.

this fix worked for me after the 2nd try. so I am happy about that but wonder why the screen is going black in the first place? It is only a month old!

@AlexandraFitbit Mine has done it 3 times and was able to get it back running. However, now it is blank and will stay black screen. The most I have been able to do is get a white line to apppear on screen when it is on charger. It will not track steps or sync now either. I’ve done the reset sequence at least 6 times each 3 days in a row

Mine starting having problems last week with step counting being way off. I did a reset and that "cured" the problem. Last night, it happened again and this morning I awakened to a blank screen. I did all the reset suggestions with no result. I have a heart issue in which I have to track heart rate so it is important to me that I can quickly look to see current rate. I also am now getting back into exercising after a hospitalization, so that info is important also. The tracker transmits the info to the app but I just can't see the info on the tracker screen.
I contacted via Chat customer service a few minutes ago and within 5 minutes of chatting my tracker is being replaced by Fitbit. I could have chosen the option to upgrade at half price but right now, the Charge 3 works for me....when it works. I don't need a smart watch with Alexa.

Apparently this issue is affecting a large number of Fitbit users. I believe Fitbit should issue a detailed solution or provide a replacement even for those our of warranty.
