Welcome on board @Dnlhare! Are you having issues charging your Charge 3? What message are you referring to?
If the display is frozen/stuck, I'd recommend restarting your device by following these steps.
If you are having difficulties charging your device, please take a look at the help article Why isn't my battery charging? and follow the instructions provide there.
We recommend to charge your trackers via the USB port over a wall adapter. However, it is also possible to charge your Fitbit tracker with a UL certified wall adapter. What may actually cause damage to the tracker's battery (either on a computer or a wall adapter) is the charging time, which if excessive over time may damage the battery and therefore cause quick battery drain or prevent the tracker from charging at all.

I am having the same issue. I tried that and every other recommended solution, but nothing is working. The only thing that will show is the clock face, but it won't scroll up/down, left/right to any of the other screens.
It started by vibrating when I had a notification, but wouldn't show the notification. I tried to reset from the settings. Once I did that, I was unable to scroll.
I have tried the reset, pushing the button down for 8 seconds. It does nothing. I feel it vibrate, and let go after 8 seconds and it doesn't change.
I have removed it from my app, changed the clock face, reconnected to the app, with no avail.

I had the same issue. Tried all the steps including updating the clock face, still no scrolling other than seeing it for half a second. I went and updated my fitbit password and now it works. Go figure.
I'll take it as a win.

Everything is working fine now. I even changed my clock display back to the previous one and it is still scrolling fine.
I appreciate being able to find troubleshooting issues online, just wished I had looked a couple of days earlier. It would have saved me a certain amount of frustration from trying to scroll and tap.

They contacted me and it didn't work.
My scroll feature fixed itself temporarily, and now it will scroll whenever it feels like it. Some days it works, others it won't. The side button doesn't seem to respond consistently either. This Charge 3 has been nothing but issues since I got it.

Hi. My charge 3 wont scroll and when I restart it as described above the screen goes blank and only comes back on if i change the clock face but still wont scroll. Do you have any ideas please?

I've tried all the suggested solutions listed above and still am unable to scroll or restart my charge 3. in addition the back ground of my display is made up varying shades of grey stripes, instead of being black.

Contact Fitbit for a warranty replacement. That’s what they did when it happened to me.
