About a week ago, I stopped receiving text notifications on my Charge 3. I still get all other notifications (including phone, email, alerts). I have rebooted my Charge 3, checked the settings on the watch, app and my S9 phone (android). I have restarted my phone and the watch. Still nothing!
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Mine has done the same thing for at least a week maybe few days more . I get calls no problem but not texts . And that is the thing I actually care about. I’ve done all the settings and reboots suggested nothing fixed it

Same here. So frustrating. Second time this has happened since I purchased it 2 months ago but this time troubleshooting didn't help. I am getting all other notifications I want but not the text messages. Hope they get this fixed soon.

Deleted Fitbit app from phone and reinstalled. Texts are working now.

Same story here, I stopped receiving text notifications on my FitBit Charge 3 about a week and a half ago. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and glad it is not just me. Super frustrating as I rely on this feature for work. I have tried everything, I hope the fix goes into place asap!

Today my Charge 3 suddenly started getting text msgs again. Not sure what the problem was. I didn't do anything. Hope everyone else's resolved too!

My Charge 3 stopped receiving text notifications after the recent software update on my Samsung S8 (Android version 9).
I googled and realised that there has been many complaints, starting in early Sep 2019, about notification issues from the upgrade. I believe Samsung is aware of it and working to make good.
Today, I changed to my previous phone Samsung A5(2016) on Android 7.0 (I have decided not to upgrade the software).
Bingo... I receive notifications on my Charge 3. It's working good for the past 8 hours.
In the next few days, if I continue receiving notifications then the problem probably lies with the Samsung Android software, not Charge 3 or the Fitbit app.
I will update in due course.

I continue receiving text notifications on my Charge 3 with A5(2016) running on Android 7.0.
However, yesterday, I realised Fitbit app version 3.7 was just released.
I updated the app on my Samsung S8.
Bingo... it seems that this solved the notification issue.

My Charge 3 stopped receiving texts about 2 weeks ago...rebooted, no change. What is wrong and when will it be fixed? Will it fix automatically or will I need to do something?
