Charge 3 won’t pair or sync with iOS devices

I have tried all the tricks of turning off, turning back on Bluetooth on iPhone, putting Charge 3 in the charger and holding the side button until the 🙂 appears, holding my mouth sideways, etc. Nothing is working. It seems to have started after the latest software update on my iPhone. Is anyone else having problems?

Very frustrating.i am passing on the instructions that finally worked. I deleted the app,then I shut off Bluetooth then in the Bluetooth section the device is listed. Hit “forget this device”. Then restore Bluetooth and the app. I did have to repeat this process 2 or 3 times. Now it works. Good luck.hopeit works for you. Georgia

Hello,this is what I did -I deleted the app then I removed Bluetooth then under Bluetooth I found charge 3 and hit”forget this device”. Then restarted Bluetooth and restarted the app. I had to repeat this at least twice but works now. Very frustrating .hope this works for you. Georgia

After the IOS 13.4.1 update last night, the sync function the app fails immediately.   It does not pause for the usual 20 or 30 seconds before deciding whether it can sync.   Same after rebooting iPhone.   Same after removing Fitbit Bluetooth and re-pairing.  (Pairing works fine, just no sync).  I think 13.4.1 should be added to this thread name as it did not come up in search.  Fitbit: how long before you get an update in App Store?????

I’ve done the same thing for the last 6 days. Some days it works longer than others but all but one day it was not still working in the morning. It’s synced my sleep and exercise one day this week. Sorry

Sorry to hear that. I believe it is an iPhone issue not Fitbit. I contacted iPhone customer device. Not helpful at all. I live in Southern Ca. There several iPhone stores but they are still closed. Have you tried contacting your phone service for suggestions? Best of luc

I had update last weekend. My Fitbit wasn’t recognized a few days after that. I did several hard closings then a few people on the site said to delete app,shut off Bluetooth and hit the ‘forget this device buttonand then restart Bluetooth and download app. I had to repeat a couple of times

I did contact apple.....all is fine on my phone...my Bluetooth devices work except fitbit. Thewere unable to diagnose fitbit so advised to contact fitbit....fitbit does not know what is wrong and can’t fix it. So i delete and add back every day.

Thanks for your help. I think Apple does this on purpose to promote their Apple Watch. I have to reset daily. But until this problem is solved, I guess we will have to do whatever to use our Fitbit’s!

Thanks for the hot tip, gonna charge my old iPad and won’t update it til Fitbit figures this out 😃
