When I initiate exercise by pushing and holding the Charge 2 button ( in this case, 'run'), the device shows the GPS indicator and the other indicator telling me that my Charge 2 is talking to the app.
However, the current pace, average pace, and miles are not close to correct. I have walked enough to know that I typically walk between 13 and 14 min. per mile. My device is now showing 20 or more minutes per mile. Additionally, I know that approx 1500 steps or so are ONE mile. However, I am seeing .6-.7 miles walked when I am way over 2,000 steps.
The step counts seem to be correct ( I have watched it as I walk).
Also, there is no difference if I start an exercise with the Fitbit app. It does not accurately record in either operation (start from device or from app).
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Bill

@re4med Thanks for stopping by!
Let me help you with your pace and distance calculation. Your device uses the number of steps and stride length to calculate the distance. You can improve the accuracy by measuring and logging your stride length. Feel free to use these instructions to do this. With an improved distance calculation your pace calculation should also improve.
Let me know how it goes.
