Email verification for Fitbit account

when i enter the fitbit app on my iphone it says that i need to verify my email address. i send the email and click on verify email but it brings me to a page that says "that journey has ended" and nothing happens. when i return to the app it still says that i need to verify the email.

Let me help you with your Email verification. It is odd that your app isn't saving your email verification. Log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. After this retry the email verification.
