Exercise tracking stopped working

I do daily aerobics and my Fitbit Charge 2 has always tracked the days of exercise each week (example 4 of 6 days).  This icon is on the main dashboard (under wear your fitbit to bed).  I like seeing the calories burned, avg bpm, minutes of my workout and % of cardio.

My Charge 2 records my steps, calories burned and time as usual - but the exercise does not appear to be giving me credit for my (aerobic cardio) exercise today.

Any suggestions?  I have reset my fitbit.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

What am I missing.  THANK YOU.

Hi Tracy~
Sorry I am not able to help with your route tracking issue. When I had my
initial issue where my exercise tracking stopped working I finally
contacted FitBit to report the issue and a few days later it was fixed.
Prior to that I uninstalled and reinstalled the app too but that didn't
seem help my issue. Maybe try reaching out to the entire fitbit community.
Good luck!

Hello
I did all the things I stated in my post. Forced a reset, re- installed
app, changed the period of exercise and turned my IPhone on and off. I’m
not sure which if any really solved the problem but a couple of days later
it just started working properly again and has continued to work properly.

Did you ever get this fixed?  I’m having the same problem in Oct 2020!

Wow that is a long time, mine fixed after an update as there was a technical issue.

I have had the same problem today - I was out hiking for an hour and a half and it's saying I did just 1.2 km!  I had to manually enter the time/distance, but it's not showing as active minutes.  Very frustrating!
