My Fitbit Charge 2 has started erratically flicking through menu options mainly on notifications on/off. Its only over a year old so not sure what has gone wrong. Have tried to restart but it keeps happening until the battery drains & I have to charge it up again

This has started to happen to me .  Kills the battery . .  Tried leaving it plugged in . . Tried Draining it . . Nothing is working ..  no updates to do it is up to date / It was bought brand new so I figure it would last longer than 2 years.    Do I have any options to fix it?

I'm having this problem as well! I have let the battery drain, charged it, pressed the button, but it still does it. I even let it sit for a couple of weeks.

I'm having the same problem. It started with my Charge 2 failing to pick up my heart rate. This progressed to flicking through the screens and rapidly draining the battery. I've tried resetting several times by plugging in and pressing the reset button whilst plugged in. It doesn't seem to want to come back to life. Has their been a faulty firmware upgrade recently?

Mine has started doing the same thing! So frustrating. I’ve tried resetting it, letting it drain, tried resetting it again after that, can’t think of anything else to try. Mine is 2 years and 3 weeks old, warrantee last 2 years, some impressive engineering to get it to break just after the warrantee ends.

I have tried that . ..  Rebooting has stopped it for a little while ..  but then it goes crazy again

I have found if I leave it plugged in for a few days it seems to be ok for a while.

I did a chat with Fitbit and all I was told that I would get 25% off coupon for another Fitbit. It lasted just a while beyond the warranty of course. They want you to buy a new one but don’t take into account that people have been out of work because of a pandemic. I will probably just invest in an Apple Watch.
