All of a sudden this morning my Fitbit will not sync with my iPhone 6.

Accepted Solutions

I went on a live chat with Fitbit and this solution worked....

- Connect your Fitbit Charge 2 to its charger, then press and hold the button for 4 seconds or until it shows the Fitbit icon.

- Logout from your FitBit App on your Iphone and turn off your mobile device for 10 seconds then back on.

- Log back into your Fitbit App and this will initialize a sync while the tracker is beside the phone.

@amw78 @CoachLisa23 It's great to have you here!

@amw78 happy to hear that the support team was able to resolve your issue and thank you so much for sharing what worked for you as this may help other members in the same situation.

@CoachLisa23 are you still having issues with your tracker? Have you tried @amw78 suggestions? Could you add more information like the phone you are using and the last time your tracker synced? For how long have you been using your tracker?

I look forward to your reply.

Worked for me on the second try

Thank you so much this has worked for me now - had to do it 2 times - the first time I took my Fitbit out of the holder - the second time I left it in and it worked a dream.

Thank you. This worked!

That did not work for me. “Connection Unsuccessful” and a prompt to be sure charge 2 is turned on.

It works fine with iPad Pro.

It worked for awhile when I first got the Charge 2 Fitbit with my iPhone. I’ve updated everything, turned everything off and back on, reset, etc.  Occastionally it connects for a few seconds.

All my other Bluetooth devices connect and function well.

Tried twice. Didn’t work. Works fine with iPad Pro but not with iPhone. Worked for awhile when I first purchased it last month, then quit working.

All other devices pair with iPhone without issue.

It works with my iPad but not iPhone.  Looking at the complaints on this forum, this issue has been going on for awhile.

Must be an iPhone issue.

@Merc2723 @nelliebarr A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry to hear about your Charge 2 not syncing with your iPhone. Try going to your iPhone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your Charge 2 by doing the following:

Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter.
Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely.
Your tracker should start charging.
Press the button for 10 to 12 seconds.
You should see your tracker's firmware version and you can now unplug your tracker.

Make sure all other devices are either away or turned off (bluetooth headphones, iPad or phones that also sync with your Charge 2). Another thing that can help is if you remove the Charge 2 from your iPad bluetooth settings too so it can freely sync with your iPhone.

Let me know how it goes!

Hi,
I got mine to work, however now it syncs intermittently. Syncs with iPad better but still delayed.
