Fitbit Charge 3 Screen Dimmed

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Over the past few moths, my Charge 3 screen has become more and more dim. I can’t read it when I’m outside at all. Inside, it’s barely readable. All other functions work. I have completed all the troubleshooting steps. This seems to be a common problem. Can you help?

All the other fun nations work except Country Fitbit.

Have you checked you are not in Sleep Mode?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hello @Runes. Welcome to the community forums. @JohnnyRow It's nice to see you around and thanks for your input.

Thank you for the detailed information and for letting us know that you've completed all the troubleshooting steps. I also appreciate your feedback and I'd like to let you know that there are other threads with a similar topic, but as mentioned on the post above, make sure that your Charge 3 isn't in Sleep Mode. When the sleep mode setting is on:

  • Notifications don't cause the tracker to vibrate or the screen to turn on.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • Turning your wrist won't cause the tracker’s screen to turn on.

To change this, press and hold the button and swipe left to access the quick settings screen. Tap a setting to turn it on or off. When you turn off the setting, the icon appears dim with a line through it. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

If that is not he case, make sure that the Brightness setting on your Charge 3 is set correctly. This can be adjusted in the Settings App on your Charge 3. Lastly, make sure that you've also completed these troubleshooting steps from this thread

See you around.
