Fitbit Charge 3 not charging beyond 1%

I've had my Charge 3  and it worked fantastically until it didn't on 26.12.2020. Over the holidays it just all of a sudden became unresponsive. I could not press the button on the side, and when charged it would last for less than 30 minutes. I have been through some of the posts here and reset it using the 15 second method a few times. Everything seems okay when its plugged in, but it does not charge beyond 1%. I have let the charger run for a few hours and still nothing. I haven't yet swum with the watch so I doubt there could be any sort of water ingress. Please help! I am very frustrated.

My charge 3 was purchased 12/3/19...suddenly stopped working (charging) in Nov 2020. No water...nothing out of the normal use... Just suddenly said 1% battery (day after charging) then the charging ceased. Frustrating that it was under 1 year old.

The exact same thing happened to me on 1/3/2021.  My Charge 3 has never been in water. What gives?

I have the same problem, spoke with customer service department, there is no help to get fixed, asked so many time to restart and clean the contacts, there  is no help, they suggested to buy new one, why some should more money on the product when they can not support the broken items, it is better to get a different company product who would support the products , and find out why it does not last for lon, mine is just about it of warranty and now done,

@Sanghvi5m I hope you are doing fine.

Sorry to hear about this. Support does follow the guidelines described in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.

I'll be around.

Thank you  @AlvaroFitbit for the troubleshooting ideas.  However, none have worked.   I've charged the Fitbit for several days now, it's still at 1%,  I've also reset it several times.  I used a different charger thinking that might be the issue but nothing.  Now when the Fitbit does come on it now has a line in it, meaning there are missing parts of numbers & such.

Thanks to anyone who has any ideas of what to do besides replacing the Fitbit.

I am having the same issue at Kwisi. I purchased the Charge 3 December, 2019 and expected it to last longer than 13 months. I'm debating what to do about it.

Besides purchasing a new Fitbit there is probably nothing that can be done
about it. I've been waiting for information about my issue. This is my
second purchase of a Fitbit & it will be my last. This one didn't last 3
years. Support only offered me the "help" information.
I am disappointed as I do like the product.
