Fitbit app is not providing Sleep Score of my Charge 3

Hi,

I am new to Fitbit and I’ve really enjoyed the Sleep Score function. However, as of yesterday the app is no longer providing a sleep score. The sleep insights are turned on and are displaying the different stages of sleep, but the analysis as well as the score have simply disappeared.

I have tried logging out and back in, as well as toggling the sleep insights tab. None of this has worked. Can anyone advise me on why this is happening and how to fix it?

Hi there @TheoFit3, welcome to the Community Forums. I appreciate your efforts in fixing Sleep Score data prior to contacting us. Nice way to go!

Please swipe left on the Sleep Score graph, here you can see information about your weekly sleep average and sleep duration. To get more detailed information, see: What's sleep score in the Fitbit app?

Note that we are aware of Sleep Score may take longer than usual to appear in the app. We’re currently working to resolve it and hope to have a fix soon. Be sure to keep your Fitbit device and app up-to-date to ensure you receive the quickest resolution.

We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

Please let us know if there's anything we can do to assist you in the meantime.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me on this. However, there isn’t really an option to swipe left on the sleep score graph. I am getting an average sleep score of ‘0’ due to this issue. The app has yet to provide me with another sleep score since the first day I used the device, could you please advise what I should do?

Best Answer

@TheoFit3 I have the same issue ever since I got my fitbit. In the month that I have been using, I only got a sleep score 3 times.

My sleep score not working at all after tapping on it on my phone it gets frozen, and nothing can be done, except go out completely everything else working just the sleep score frozen. Can somebody help?

Same thing has happened to me after two nights of purchasing this!

I’m having the same problem. When I hit the sleep score option it is just completely freezing the app

Another example of Fitbit giving a response that makes no sense as their is NO way to swipe left as indicated in their response 😞

Yes had sleep score for the first two days only.  Now I only get an average.  Anyone know why this happened?

I am having a similar issue. Got the charge 3 for Xmas, and first night of sleep got a sleep score, with all the fun detailed info. Second night, only got the times sleeping and awake. No score, no more detail. What happened? It's been 12+ hours since I woke up.

I am having the same problem. My sleep score has only showed up two nights out of five. I can’t find any explanations or solutions.

Mine started working again several weeks ago. Hopefully yours will too.

I have the same issue, only showing the first day and nothing since. Why this is marked as answered I don't know, because that 'official' answer tells you nothing.

After days if no sleep score one showed up today. No rhyme or reason. Fitbit doesn’t know

Has there been a fix to this issue?  I have a new Charge3 and I was able to get the sleep score and stages for two nights but the last two nights no score or stages.

I’m having trouble getting my sleep score and anything associated with my sleep. I have not changed anything about how I wear my Fitbit. I’ve deleted and restarted, I’ve tried everything I can but nothing has helped. It started about 1 1/2 months ago. I updated all the apps on my phone and still to no avail. Can anyone tell me how to fix this.

FitBit is clueless and doens't seem to care about this issue. I just bought the new Versa 2 and signed up for premium. The first two nights I received a sleep score and all the other great sleep info. On night three, nothing. My wife also got no score on the same night. Best FitBit can do is say wear it tighter. lol. I wore it at the same tightness all three nights. Anyway, without consistent sleep info the feature is useless for serious monitoring of my sleep patterns. It took my family a long time to talk me into fitbit because to me it was alway gimicky with counting steps and such (walking/moving is great but to make real and substantive health improvements it takes a lot more than that). I finally relented because of features like sleep tracking. But, not surprisingly, that too is just a gimick that isn't really beneficial in any meaningful way. Very unhappy. Get it together FitBit. I'm sure I'm not the only one looking to move to something else.
