Yep, same problem. My original was purchased January 2015 and replaced in May 2015 when it quit working. Now my replacement has fallen apart and they tell me the original purchase date is the only warranty that they honor. Any replacements are not covered after the original purchase date. Very unhappy with the customer service and will not purchase another one.

@Brendaves @CATSAVAGE Welcome to our Community! I would like to clarify that your tracker (original or replacement) is covered by our 1 year warranty but it will start from the date you purchased the original one. If your replacement becomes defective within the warranty period then it should still be covered. Once the year pass then most likely our Support Team won't replace it.
This next part is quoted from our Warranty page: "Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction."

My band is falling apart on my charge, and I had been told by a friend fitbit would fix the band, so came here to see how to handle it, and it sounds like im going to end up dissapointed. Cant count the number of posts about how this is a defective band design. I bought a charge after my dog ate my flex, but if it becomes unwearable this quickly and i cant simply have it fixed, then Ill have to find another solution. Fitbit - making a product that falls apart immediately and only being willing to fix your mistake one time means youre actively driving customers (multiple time purchaser) such as myself away. I cant in good concience purchase expensive electronics I know will become unusable in the short term. If you fitbit people do respond, how about - are there any of your products that dont fall apart like this?

@Chopsbenedict Welcome to our Community! Our warranty doesn't state that you can only receive one replacement. It does state that your tracker is covered for 1 year. You can check it out if you want to clarify any questions you may have about it.

Yeah! we get it! you don't stand by your product for more than the initial 1 year. Like we said, we won't purchase another one. We asked if there is a fitbit product that does not fall apart and you did not respond. I guess there isn't.

I have had my fitbit charge for about 4 months now and I just noticed today that the plastic has broken on the side of the band that adjusts the tightness (side with the slots) and I dont know when or how it happened since im super careful with it. my last fitbit (a flex) got stollen and every time i tried to call fitbit customer survice, i either got a busy tone or nobody would answer, so i dont know what to do about my charge... There's also moisture in my charge (i can see the moisture on the screen when it lights up). So i understand completely, and I've only had my charge for 4 months

I had the saissue. My first Ftibit HR fell apart within 6 months and within the waranty period. I was able to return it and get a replacement but the repacement began falling apart after about 6 montahs and has now completely disintegrated (it has been about 9 months I have had the replacement and about 15 moths form initial purchase). This is the seconf Fitbit tracker I've bought (started with Flex and then moved up to Charge HR) and liked the product but given the quality problems I will not buy another Firtbit nor would I recommend it to my friends.

YES, I got my FitBit Charge last Christmas, lasted 11 months and has completely fallen apart currently being held together with electrical tape...

I had an original Charge, it fell apart in 7 months. I called, they sent me a new one, free, but...now the new one has also fallen apart, within 7 months, but I am out of warranty and all I was offered was a discount. 2 of my friends also had theirs replaced, twice.
They are just not well made and are overpriced, for the quality. Time to move on, I think.

Hey all,
If your band is coming apart due to the glue not sticking, head over to Walmart and get a tube of crazy glue for $4. You can wear your Fitbit for another year as super glue is far superior than the original glue.
Cover the clock screen with scotch tape and use a toothpick to apply the glue.

My Versa just fell apart also with normal usage ..... customer support is awful... I'm getting a second fitness tracker, been with Fitbit a very long time...but I'm done....to get replacement for this,I would need to have purchased the extended warranty for $54 more dollars...I'M DONE!!

As is evidenced by the plethora of people with the same experience 6-18 months is the total lifespan of these devices, therefore the LIMITED warranty is nothing but windowdressing in an attempt to mask a product designed to fail, encouraging additional purchases.
I bought a Garmin after my experience with fitbit, and guess what? nearly 3 years later (3 in a month) its in perfect condition. I honestly dont know if their customer service is poor because I havent needed it. They designed a product to succeed, and I encourage anyone on this site to switch brands ASAP, though I imagine the mods are going to axe my post as advertisement for competition.
Fitbit is successful as a company because they copied the Apple model. Design things which look nice, and make your apps cute, and fall apart the day after any warranty. They lucked out on brand recognition, in the same manner that we use kleenex as a stand-in for the correct term of facial tissue, fitbit has become a generic name.
