My heart rate hasn't been working for 3 days now. I have reset my fitbit charge 2 many times, but still nothing happens. Does anyone know what I could do? I recently bought it

Hey there, thanks for stopping by @monicahal! Attempting the those restarts was a nice way to go my friend, well done!
However, I'm a bit curios to know if by any chance you're seeing "--" on your tracker instead of heart rate readings?
Besides the restarts, I'd like to say that your tracker can have difficulty finding a signal, typically due to the tracker's fit. For example, wearing your band tightly may constrict blood flow in your wrist and affect the signal. We recommend experimenting with how high you place the tracker on your wrist. When you're not exercising, wearing the tracker just above the wrist bone--as you would a watch--typically works fine. However, moving the tracker up a couple inches can be helpful during high-intensity exercises or exercises that cause you to bend your wrist frequently. If you haven't already done so, please review our recommendations for wear and other tips shared by @SantiFitbit.
If you're wearing the tracker correctly and the heart rate setting isn't turned off, try changing the setting (either Auto to On or On to Auto) and then syncing your tracker. The change won't take affect until you sync. If heart rate still doesn't appear after the sync, try restarting your tracker (once again) 3 times in a row and wait at least 60 seconds before checking heart rate again.
If you're still unable to see your heart rate on the display, please let me know if you can see the green lights flashing on the bottom of your tracker.
Fingers crossed! Keep me posted!

Thanks for answering so fast 🙂 Yes I'm seeing "--" on my charger. This night I took it off, and put it back on this morning but still nothing. I can try to restart again. The green light has been on the entire time, that's why I thing it is a bit strange. I have also turned off, on and on auto on my app, so.. I'm not sure of what more I could do. I had a workout the day, it stopped working, so can it have something to do with that?

I tried to reset it as you said, but still the "--" sign is there. I have loosen it, and changed it back to auto. I feel really disopointed since I just got it.. 😞 The green light is still on as well

Exactly the same problem as here is discribed. That only since two days. The months before it worked perfectly. Also my all day sync does not work. It only syncs when I start the app. The first days it worked properly and I was also connected with my phone. Unfortuntely that last only for a few days.I read a lot about it on your forum (both problems) but found no solution.

I am having this same issue with my flex2. The first two times I worked out with it, it worked fine and showed my progress during my workout. Since then nothing it won't show anything as far as may workout. Such a let down when I was looking forward to using this on my workouts.

Thanks for stopping by @Robdegroot @Shawnmarie29!
Keep in mind that you can see live heart rate data by making sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device. In the Fitbit apps for iOS and Windows 10, also make sure all-day sync is turned on.
If you're using the Android app, you'll only see heart rate data if you have call, text, or calendar notifications enabled.
If after checking that you two are still having issues, try the following:
Also, please confirm if you can see the green lights flashing on the bottom of your tracker.
Hope to hear good news!

Thank you for your response. I tried to solve the problem the way you proposed. Unfortunately it does not work. And yes, the two green lights on the back do work. I told you my all day sinc does not work properly **ahem** well. Maybe that makes the problem. Because of my not working all day sinc I also have problems with my notification. And because my heart rate meter does not work properly also my sleep is not working good.
by the way it looks like my heart rate meter works when I am sporting. When my heart rate goes up the meter shows my heart rate(?).
I use the fitbit charge 2 in combination with my ipad and iphone5.
forgive me my English. It is not easy for a dutchie😉

I have tried virtually every suggestion regarding the heart rate not showing/working on my Charge 2. None of it has helped. The device worked perfectly and then just stopped tracking my heart rate. What can I do? I've not had this very long, so there's no reason it should not work correctly. Please help.

Hi.
I've had the same problem with mine. I've only had the Charge 2 about a month and the past few days all I've seen is "_ _" on the heart rate. It's also affecting the sleep stages on the app. I've tried wearing it at different positions on my arm and even tried tightening the strap, but nothing has changed. After doing the reset, I get a heart rate for about a minute before returning to "_ _"
Any further help would be appreciated

I have just started having the same issue. The heart rate monitor stopped working this afternoon the lights are still on and I can turn it off, but no readings. Just the "--". I have reset it several times, turned the phone off and updated the app. Nothing. I have owned this Charge 2 since October. Any help would be much appreciated!!
Thanks.
