Hey there @Sweetmeat, thanks for stopping by! Welcome to the Forums! Woman Very Happy If your tracker is showing a solid line, the steps for the restart can be found below:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Hmmmm... this is very strange @Josie11. I'd recommend restarting your Charge 2 at least 3 times in a row to see if this solves the issue. Also, check if when syncing you're getting your steps on the dashboard. Smiley Very Happy

Why has the online dashboard been changed?  This morning when I click on more detail on the steps it no longer shows steps and calorie expenditure by increments, it only shows activities that the fitbit auto detected.  You can get that by looking at recent activities.  This is a huge change which is a downgrade, not an upgrade.  Yes I now it was not precise, but it gave you a good idea of relative activity throughout the day.  Why did this change and/or is there some setting I am missing that allows me to see the activity over a 24 hour period in small increments.

It doesn't show steps. It seemed to have stopped yesterday morning.  I did the steps recommended of putting on charger cable and holding button for 4 seconds but it still doesn't show steps.  What else can I try?
