Not Auto Recognizing Walks Anymore

I've had my Fitbit HR about 6 months now. I've had no problems until recently. It has stopped auto recognizing walks I take all of a sudden. I know I can manually start and stop the tracking of it, but I really liked the auto recognize feature. Has anybody else has this problem??

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

@LaurDiGi Welcome to our Community! Did the restart suggested by @WendyB help correct the issue? Anything you can tell me about this situation or just let me know if you still need assistance.

I look forward to your reply.

Restsrting it about 5x did work for that day, but it still does not recognize activity consistently.

@LaurDiGi Thanks for keeping the update here! Make sure that you are reaching the time that your tracker recognizes the walking activity on your Dashboard (i.e. 15 minutes) If your tracker is still unable to recognize your activity even though you have restarted it, I recommend contacting our Customer Support team.

I just requested customer assistance with this same problem, and they told me to wear my tracker on the other wrist.   I've been wearing it for 2 years with no problems, and all of a sudden I have to switch wrists?  Makes no sense at all.   I guess these devices just aren't intended to last more than 2 years, so I'll have to get a new one.  Very frustrating.
