My Fitbit Charge 2 was working fine but all of all of a sudden notification service stopped on my Android device and cannot enable it following everything described in this forum.

@pranabdavinci Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry to hear that your notifications services stopped on your phone. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible? Make sure you have the app up to date. You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Let me know how it goes!

Mine hasn’t worked for ages, keep trying different things but can only get calendar notifications and phone calls to work. It’s really annoying as the text message feature was the reason I had upgraded to the charge 2 Fitbit, very loathed to upgrade again as it’s a lot of money for the whole product not to work. I try and keep privacy settings tight on iPhone so it maybe something simple that I don’t have enabled so any ideas/solutions would be greatly appreciated. If not then I guess I’ll have to be a Fitbit desererter but such a shame after several years 😕
