I was given a friend's Fitbit Charge 3 but they have forgotten the code so I can pair it with the app on my phone. How do I get the 4 digit code to do this? Thanks.

Hello @ozzyheather, welcome to the Community forums, it's good to see you around.
As @MerlinStWahgwan mentioned earlier, there is not a unique code for each tracker, it's just one of the steps required during the setup process. You would only need to create a Fitbit account, if you don't have one already, and follow the regular set up process described here; eventually you'll be prompted to the page where you have to access the code (in the Fitbit app), and the 4 digit pin will be displayed on the display of your Charge 3.
I hope this helps, keep me posted.

Someone can correct me if im wrong, but you dont pair it like a bluetooth headset, fitbit does not give out that pairing code.
He needs too remove the device from his fitbit account, then you create a fibit account and pair it within the fitbit app, it will enter the pairing pin automatically at that point and the device serial number will be locked to your account.
If you dont remove it from his, his account will be where all your data syncs too
You may need too factory reset the pebble after removing it from his account, im not sure, i ha nt personally done this proceedure before but it should solve the problem.
You cant just pair it to your phone like a normal smart device though because it just isnt setup too be paired that way, you need too pair thru the fitbit app, and it wont discover a device locked too someone elses account, as far as im aware.

My display has stopped working, so I cannot see the 4 digit code to pair the device!!! Restarting the device has not worked to get screen working. Neither has changing the clock face. Next suggestion was unpair the device and re-pair. Didn't mention I'd need to be able to see a code ON THE NON-WORKING DISPLAY in order to pair. So now my device is unpaired, and the screen doesn't work. Useless crap!

My fitbit is less than 9 months old. The screen has gone black and it has unpaired from my phone.
Cannot see the 4 pin code to be able to reattach to my phone and try a reset

I ended up calling customer service after trying everything. They had to
send me a new one because it was under the one year warranty.

I have the same issue. The screen is totally dead so I can't get the code

I’ve the exact same issue too. Screen of current charge 3 went black although I’ve tried all methods. I’ve unpaired the current charge 3 and wanted to pair an old charge 3 but the pairing code doesn’t show up on the old charge 3 either (god knows why although the screen is slightly faulty with lines across the display but I can still see the clock face fine). So now I have two charge 3 but neither can be paired with my iPhone!
