I agree with you Tracyjogger69, it's a shame it's not a throw-away price! Maybe I'm expecting too much in this day & age.  😀

If you aren't replacing the Fitbit charge 2 because it has a defect no sense in posting that some people are treated differently than others. The warranty is the same across the board. You should be replacing all of the defective items.

Hi. My fitbit chsrge 2 has appeared to have a crack frim top to bottom of screen. As with so many others. Unfortunately  I have had it almost 2 years.  But obvioudly there is a severe issue  with the screens. Maybe a recal back on all charge 2's would be suffice.  But doubt very much we will all get oneIgnore the white thick line. Its the crack from top to bottomIgnore the white thick line. Its the crack from top to bottom

HeydyFitbit, frankly, I haven't bothered to contact support because I've
read too many people posting about jumping through the hoops to get offered
a 25% discount instead of a fix. I'll just quietly vote with my wallet.

It looks like if you really want to get it fixed, one has to get through to
the VP of this or that or email the CEO and I'm not taking the time. I'll
just use it until it doesn't work and then move on to a non-Fitbit
product.

I'm sure there are some people that have no problem tossing cash down the
drain, but I'm betting most of them are already wearing Apple Watches.
For me, if I'm going to pay what a Charge 2 costs, I would expect it to
last longer than a year without what is obviously some sort of durability
defect. Office workers all with similar lengthwise cracks, hmm.

Its not the speed of a replacement we are all so furious about . Its the  lack of interest  of how nany people have the same fault, so obviously a design fault. , and the lack of willingness to replace those who have had them over 1 year warranty.

Fitbit replaced mine out of warranty after I sent an email to the VP of sales, they got back to me very quickly and I had a replacement in about a week. (address for all are in one to these threads). I would suggest everyone do the same thing. The forum moderators do not have the authority to offer any out of warranty solutions other than the silly discount coupon.

I wrote two emails a few weeks ago, referencing this thread. One to the
president and one to the head of their PR department. Neither was even
acknowledged.

My fitbit is about 18 months old. 2 cracks in the screen. Fitbit only offered 25% off a new one. Disappointed as you can tell that the cracks are just from normal use. It has never been stepped on or dropped. Fitbit needs to stand by their product and replace as this is clearly a design flaw.

I agree I got the same response but I’m going to email someone higher up and complain about the faulty product and all the people who have the same problem on there site!
