What’s up with the heart rate tracking no longer shows up in the Exercise tracker? It was working until last Sunday and hasn’t worked since.

*I have new Fitbit app update

*I have an Iphone 8

*changed HR in Settings from on to off to on again

*rebooted

what else to do?

Fitbit already replaced my Charge 3 device a couple months ago when I had black screen.

Android app update to V3.7 fixed this for me on a Charge 2HR.

Looks like fitbit have no intention of fixing this.

After extensive chat, followed by email, pointing out and proving that the functionality has changed, this was the fitbit response:

Hi,

Thank you for keeping in touch and providing screenshots.

We're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services, which sometimes results in existing products changing.

We appreciate your feedback and will do our best to make sure this product is aligned with your interests. Let us know if you have any questions.

I'm beginning to wonder if this isn't some sort of random fault. My heart rate tracking stopped working for several weeks and then, without explanation, it begun working again. I'm on a Charge 2. My wife is using a Charge 3 and that seems to play up all the time. It's constantly "unable to find device" even though it's right next to the phone, frequently fails to log exercise and heart rate data.

Anyway, I'm winding down my enthusiasm for my Fitbit. With the company being sold to Google, I'm ditching the brand and deleting my data before the transfer date. I don't trust Google with it. Long live good old fashioned mechanical time pieces 🙂

I have a Versa and running the app on an iPhone 8.  This issue just began occurring for me a week ago.  I like to track the HR for spin class when I log my time after the fact since there is no way to track a spin exercise since GPS has no effect on the exercise.

Just started happening to me a couple of weeks ago!  Fitbit, between this and my screen so dim I can’t see it, (and 16 pages of complaints on that issue), please provide some constructive instructions on how to fix these issues or provide more than 25% off a device that doesn’t appear to last any longer than the warranty period....

Same problem here with charge 3. It’s only an issue when I manually log the exercise.

Same problem here with charge3 ..Did anybody get this resolved? Heart rate shows when exercises auto detected but not when manually logged.

Same problem. Heart rate zones only show during auto-tracked exercise. C’mon Fitbit, FIX IT! This has been a problem for ALMOST A YEAR

Hi @LizzyFitbit

I just read through the comments on this thread, I'm also experiencing this problem with latest iphone and on the charge2.

I'm wondering if the newer devices have this same problem, is this device specific or something with how the app tracks data with fitbit?

Please feel free to email me separately

My charge 3 suddenly switched back to showing heart rate. Try rebooting on charger :electric_plug:

My heart rate zones are also not showing in my exercise tracker. Seems like many of us have the same issue. Get it sorted Fitbit!

I can confirm this did the trick. Thank you
for the tip! But it would be nice if it worked from the mobile app too, like it used to.

After the update I unpared the fitbit and unpaired bluetooth. Rebooted phone and fitbit and repaired the fitbit. Seems to work now. How long I wonder?
