I don’t know if you’ve found out but I’ve just updated my Fitbit app but there’s no SPO2 chart / reading but I haven’t gone to bed yet so hoping yes it will be there in the morning as someone said in the community that it will be around the 22nd of this month

Hello @AileenNoyle ,
If you have version 3.4.2 of the fitbit app and no update is available in the store, you surly have an Android version below 7.
Please note that some features like some new chalanges or the new o2v graph are not available on android older than android 7.
So if you have android below version 7, the app store gives you the latest version the 3.4.2 one as fitbit dose not offer support for old version of android.
"
VERSION 3.4.2 (ANDROID OS 5 AND 6)
Released: January 13, 2020
You can find the latest app versions here:
https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2025
For everyone that is familiar with Bluestacks, you can install it on your computer, log in wit your google google account, and then install the fitbit app in the Bluestacks enviroment.
For those that don't know, Bluestacks emulates an Android version, thus if you install it on your computer, you can log into your google account and install any app from your google store. It's like you had a virtual android phone on your computer..
I have tested a Huawei phone that has Android 6, and the fitbit app dose not update above version 2.4.2 thus no extra new features in the app. When I installed Bluestacks, the Android store thinks that you have a new phone thus the latest fitbit app will be installed 👍 when I looked in the app the o2 was there since December, and on the phone itself wasn't.
So if you face this particular problem , a phone upgrade with android above version 6 will be the solution if you want to keep your fitbit.
But please also note that not all fitbit devices have the o2 sensor. Acording to fitbit only the following have: "You must have Charge 3, Ionic, or a Versa series device"
Hope this info helps.

Good afternoon @Alex00752 ,
I had kind of given up on the Oxygen Graph at this point, since there is so much confusion online I just thought they were still in the middle of the roll-out. Or they had forgotten about me 😉
Bluestacks works like a charm. I can see all the graphs from December 2019 onwards.
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation!

I've had my Fitbit for less than a week. My oxygen figures were calculated the first 2 night but is showing blank charts for the last 3 nights. Any advice?? Thanks

@Sharrie12 does your app give you sleep stages and a sleep score?

Yes, with my sleep score. Syncs fine but no info under EOV, just a blank box!

Matt, I just purchased a Charge 3 and I moved from a Charge 2 just to see how my oxigen levels behave during my sleep
I cannot see that information on the grapg, it has no data
What do I need to do?

Hello @AileenNoyle
Glad that I could help with this information.
The Implementation of the O2 information is kind of poor as the variation of O2 is not so much relevant if you do not have the actual O2 percentage level reading and you cannot trigger a read whenever you want.
A question about this graph is bugging me:
OK, so the graph displays the estimated O2 VARIATION which is an indirect indicator for the blood oxygen reading.
Al good so far, but what happens if you have a low O2 value and that value is constant over time? The graph will register a high variation at first and will cool down as the value remains low but constant?
I am curious how the graph is programmed to react in this situation, because this would not be ok.
For example: If your oxygen level drops from 98% to 89% and stays there for a long period of time, which is not ok, then I suppose the graph will spike as a high variation occurs, and then will cool down as the value will remain constant at 89%. A such low value can indicate some problems, and the chart will register only the variation when the value dropped, but if this is the behavior, will not continue to show a low o2 value if that value is constant.
So I would like to hear a technical explanation from someone from Fitbit.
When I heard that my Fitbit has a O2 sensor i was very exited, I tough that I will have a percentile actual o2 value that you can register all day and night, even a o2 reading at demand as on the Garmint devices and Oximeters.
Instead we got a indirect indicator of a o2 value which is relevant only in a certain scenarios 😞
This led me to think that the hardware is not capable of reading the actual O2% with the necessary precision as Oximeters do, to be viable for implementation. I hope this is not the case, as I will strongly wish that Fitbit will implement the actual O2 reading in percentage with live data in the app as the HR sensor, at all time or at set intervals.
For anyone that have a phone with an android version below Android 7, the o2 variation graph will definitely wont be present as the app wont update above VERSION 3.4.2 (ANDROID OS 5 AND 6)
I wish you all the best.
Cheers.

Hello @JorgeTrevino
You can try, uninstalling the fitbit app from your phone, unpair the Charge 3 device from bluetooth settings, then install the fitbit app once again. Sign in to the app and go to your profile picture, tap on the charge 3 and then wait a second as the app will prompt you to pair the device once again with your phone (Allow all operations).
You can also reset the device by connecting it to the charger and press and hold the tactile button until as a smiley appears on the screen. (Do this before uninstalling the app on the phone. Do a sync before start so that you do not lose steps 😀)
For how nights do you have sleep data? Do you have sleep score and sleep stages displayed? Maybe you have to getter more data in order to be fully enable.
You can physically check if the O2 variation senzor pack is enable during the nights: When you are sleeping and you wake up suddenly, you should see a red light from your device if you lift it up from your arm a little (When the room is dark). If you see only the green light, then no o2 reading. If you are awake for a certain period of time the o2 reading stops.
Hope this information helps.
Have a great day.

Tried everything on my Android 10 Oneplus phone. Just can't get the graph to show on my phone. I'm sure it is collecting the data because I see the red light when sleeping and also, syncing with Fitbit app via Bluestacks I do see the O2 data. I've tried -
*restarting the band via the band interface
*restarting the band via the charger method
*Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Tried a phone restart too between the uninstall and install.
*Removing the app cache & data and resyncing.
Nothing seems to work! It's a bummer and such a lame implementation by Fitbit.
Cheers!

When will this be available for Charge 2? I have graph visible but still empty - for some reason...is this being resolved? Thanks.

Hey @repatel just wanted to let you know you aren't alone out there. Neither I (Android 10) nor my wife (Iphone) have the spo2 showing up.

@Rooney01 as mentioned above, the Charge 2 doesn't have the hardware to read the Oxygen level, you will not be getting this feature.

How do we know if we were a chosen user?
Does having a ionic ( I do early user) your most exspensive product and being a premium member (I am) get us into the in group?
Randomly stumbled on that fact that EOV feature was released when searching to see if there would be a ionic 2 or another gps on board Fitbit. Loving not needing the phone for music or gps when running very freeing. Got kinda excited since this feature was advertised in like late 2018 early 2019 when I got the ionic.
not really upset if I don’t have it just more wish if we did that we’d get a announcement about it to know and how to use it. As a medical worker on the front lines it’s not a big concern of mine, but a nice surprise is always nice.

I have a fitbit Charge 3.
A few days ago I had to reinstall the fitbit app on my phone. Eversince I don't get the SPO2 readings anymore. Beforehand it worked just fine. I do get the sleeping stages, just not the EOV graph. It's just blank.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
