The small piece on my device that connects to the band broke off. Will fitbit replace my device?

Happened to me TWICE. Fitbit replaced it the first time, but when the replacement broke the same way, just two months later, I got the “out of warranty” boilerplate response and an offer of a 35% discount. Unfortunately the discount is for a Fitbit device, not an actual reputable brand. So, thanks for nothing. Fitbit just won’t admit this design flaw.
