Distance different within app

The distance on my dashboard is different to other parts of the app. For example, on the dashboard today it says 5.06 miles. When I click the icon it says a different distance, 3.14. Any ideas?

Thanks for reporting the discrepancies that you have found in the Fitbit App when you're looking the distance of your activities. I'd like to have a screen shot of the images that you're comparing to have more details about it. Can you please share both images? You can follow these steps to upload a picture.
