My fitbit isn't showing how far I walked, isn't counting active minutes, isn't counting any steps, and is no longer calculating calories accurately on the fitbit and on the App. Any guidance?

I was finally able to get the Fitbit Inspire HR to restart. However this is
the second occurrence. Just purchased in December

Hi!

My new Fitbit Inspire doesn't calculate distance travelled or calories correctly.  I tried to reset it, but it still doesn't work.

I followed the directions to reset (numerous times). It still comes back on with the same number of steps (stuck on 9990). Any idea how to really get it to reset?

I have just got an Inspire. Have charged and set it up, but can't find icons etc on the screen. I see the battery charging and then just a flat line. No smiley face etc. Suggestions please

What button am I0 supposed to be holding? If the connectors are attached securely I do not see anything else to hold.

Disregard previous message. I have an Alta not Inspire.

not working for me either.

Try rebooting your phone. If that doesn’t work, uninstall app, and reinstall.

Mine suddenly  displays "Nothing new here" and that's it.  I tried resetting as indicated above. Ran updates.  All updated.   No change.  Seems there a lot of issues today.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @ThelmaJamesG..

Thank you for joining the thread and sharing your concern. If you would like to restart your tracker, you can follow the instructions in this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device? I also recommend doing the following:

1. Confirm that your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version: How do I update the Fitbit app?

2. Confirm that your tracker is updated to the latest version: How do I update my Fitbit device?

For complete troubleshooting instructions to resolve the syncing issue, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hope this helps!

This has been my experience, as well! My Inspire stopped tracking my sleep and exercise last month. Now it’s 4K fewer steps per day than my iPhone and I don’t even carry my phone all the time.

Seems like Fitbit only has a year life span…it’s super disappointing. I’ll have to invest an Oura next time.

Make sure you have setting to wrist and not pin.
