@oma57 The light under the watch is constantly flashing. Probably no issue when it's out of your sight but it may cause an issue if you start looking at it (hence also warning in case of epilepsy). It's like warning of flashing images on the TV in some shows or games. In here, you have bright and quickly flashing green light.

Thanks for the reply, but it has nothing to do with the eyes. The medicine I use and other photosensitive medicine makes your skin sensitive for the sun. But it looks like its also for the green led lights, like LZeeW wrote.

@oma57 true. But this is probably why it's worth to ask a specialist whether it's safe for you to wear the device 🤷

@oma57   That red spot is exactly what I was writing about.

This are the red spots after wearing the fitbit at night. Do you think this is from the leds?

Anyone else got burn marks by wearing their Fitbit sense 2?
the temp just went from winter days to +20 in Scandinavia and seems like my Fitbit can’t handle it and started to burn my skin

@oma57   It's hard to say.  But you are sensitive to something.

Hi @Jumana27 - it's possible that the watch developed a fault so check when charging it doesn't get hot and if so that confirms it and stop immediately.

It would be a good idea to chat via the Fitbit App, Help & support section, Contact Customer support and send them the link to your post, they take this matter seriously.

Have you sent those photos into your doctor?  They would be in a better position to provide you with an answer than we are.

yes I send the photos to my doctor and the answer was: Hydrochlorothiazide has the side effect that it slightly increases
the risk of skin cancer with regular exposure to UV radiation from sunlight.
This is a different type of light than the LED lighting of the Fitbit.
The redness may be due to hypersensitivity of the skin to the material of the Fitbit or due to the LED light.
In any case, if it causes skin irritation, my advice is to stop wearing the Fitbit

I have to say that I tightened the strap for going to sleep, because the night before the Fitbit did not measured my sleep.

I’ve had my Fitbit for years and happy with it no issues but over past few months I have a weird brown mark under the back of the face it doesn’t hurt but is ugly so I’ve now taken it off to see if improves - also my arm has a dint where the face sat very weird - anyone else had this development - as I say not a burn or any pain

Yesterday 5/19/2024 I woke up with a stingy sensation on my wrist. I removed my device and realized I had been burned.

I did report this to Fitbit but the only thing they offered me was a refund. The pictures I have here are from earlier in the day and the blister has sense grown. I am currently treating it and will send updated pictures. I have reported this to the consumer reports as I do not believe Google Fitbit will do much to resolve this issue and offering a refund just isn't good enough. I have looked this up and this year in March there was another person who was burned by a different model. Burns have been an issue for quite some time. 20240519_110345.jpg20240519_103316.jpg

Hi @Erin25 - the Ionic was recalled for its battery problems.

Sometimes if the watch gets water in it or develops a fault or short circuit, the battery will drain very quickly generating a lot of heat which can burn you.

I'm not sure what exactly caused this. There was no moisture on my wrist. I
keep it loose enough so i don't sweat underneath it.
It didn't come into contact with any water. I always take it off if I'll be
around water. Even if electronics can tolerate water. I still keep them
away... Because... Electronics.

I've had this fitbit for some time and never had an issue. Now I have a
giant blister and a burn mark.

My versa 3 stopped working today at 49% charge. I cannot get it to turn on and it's getting hot when I put it on the charger. It's right over a year old. If it has already quit I will never own another fitbit product. It's getting ridiculous. I've owned so many and they end up quitting out of nowhere.

Hi @kghesriofjlsef - unfortunately your watch has internal damage, possibly from water getting in, stop charging immediately as it is dangerous, don't ever wear it either because there is a risk of burning yourself.

Do good research before getting another watch if it is outside warranty.
