Inspire HR isn't receiving text notifications

Every since I updated my iPhone, I cant receive text notifications on my fitbit.  When my phone rings or I get a snapchat,  I get those notifications, just not my text messages. I originally had the Alta HR, I had the same problem on that device.  I bought the Inspire HR & I'm still having the same problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  I use it to communicate with my disabled mom during the day.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
