Inspire HR not displaying heart rate

My HR is not showing up no matter what I do. I have followed the steps on the Help page to make sure the HR is on, which it is. I have restarted my Fitbit. I made sure all updates have been done. I made sure it was snug on my wrist. Everything looks good and I’ve done all I can, I think, but the HR is not working. Anyone have any other tips or tricks?

So I figured it out - such an easy fix! 😁

1. Click the button on the side of your FitBit Inspire HR.

2. Swipe the icons down until you get to Settings.

3. Tap on Settings

4. Scroll to Heart Rate and click it so it says ON.

Same issue here. Worked when I first set it up yesterday but within an hour, it stopped.

So I figured it out - such an easy fix!

1. Click the button on the side of your FitBit Inspire HR.

2. Swipe the icons down until you get to Settings.

3. Tap on Settings

4. Scroll to Heart Rate and click it so it says ON.

My Inspire HR does not show a Settings selection but on my Fitbit app, it shows that Heart Rate is ON

Issue resolved. Finally found the Heart Rate setting and turned ON.

Well, the steps worked for a minute and then I am right back to no reading and the Heart Rate setting is On...any other ideas?

I returned Fitbit to BestBuy. Too many issues and not accurate

@CharlaLee, I'm sorry to hear that the heart rate is still not working after checking the settings. Just to confirm, are you able to see the green LED lights on the back of your Fitbit? If you've not done so, I'd suggest to restart your Inspire HR.

 

@SunsetRunner, thanks for your efforts and I'm glad that you found the settings. I'm sorry about the inconvenience that you've experienced with the Inspire HR, and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. We'll make sure to work on our devices and improve their performance.

@Grandma8kids, thanks for bringing this to my attention. If the steps posted above didn't work for you, please confirm if you can see the green LED lights on the back of your Fitbit. Also, try these other steps to check the heart rate settings in the Fitbit app:

 

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account icon.
  2. Tap on the Inspire HR tile and then on heart rate.
  3. Make sure is set to "On".
  4. Sync your device to apply the changes.

Heart rate does not work. Setting is on, wearing it properly, restarted the device, updated it, green lights are on the back... EVERYTHING. Still no HR reading

Thanks for letting me know about its behavior, as well for the troubleshooting steps that you've tried. Nice way to go! Since the heart rate is still not being tracked by your device, I've contacted our Support Team so a case can be created on your behalf. They'll send you an email with more details, keep an eye on your inbox.

The green lights don’t work and so it’s not tracking heart rate. Also, when I go to my device in the Fitbit app, there is no heart rate option. Heart rate is turned on on device.
