My HR is not showing up no matter what I do. I have followed the steps on the Help page to make sure the HR is on, which it is. I have restarted my Fitbit. I made sure all updates have been done. I made sure it was snug on my wrist. Everything looks good and I’ve done all I can, I think, but the HR is not working. Anyone have any other tips or tricks?

not finding settings on my inspire hr. on the app-as you suggest- where do I find the acct? I am sure that like me, others do not know all the tech details used freely on this forum. Thanks

Maybe you dont have a Inspire HR. Mine is Inspire (theoriginal) and it aparently is dosent come with a heart rate monitor. Its sad though. I lost my receipt and trew away the packaging because I WANTED a heart rate monitor. I hope that maybe they could fix in the future in a new update or something...

My Inspire Fitbit won’t display my heart rate either. I’ve dine all the corrections steps, but it still doesn’t work. I’m about done with this device and it’s only a week old. So disappointed.

Found another solution elsewhere
My symptoms:
-Device: Inspire HR 2
-No HR (displayed as -- in main screen)
-HR mode is ON
-I'm not dead
My solution:
-Long-press your buttons to bring up the screen lock/swim mode menu
-Scroll to "position"
-Mine had gotten switched to "on clip" instead of "on wrist". I guess if it's "on clip" and thus nowhere near your skin it's not going to be running the optical HR sensor.
User experience suggestion for fitbit:
-When a user sets HR to ON, have a warning saying "your fitbit is set to 'clip' mode, do you want to change it to 'wrist' mode?"
-When a user sets position to "clip", have a warning saying "this will disable HR. are you sure?" and don't proceed without validation
-In case they accidentally set it to clip anyway (I suspect I was just really sweaty and accidentally set clip mode), maybe instead of "--" for HR, put "on clip"

Hit the button on the side. Scroll down to on clip/on wrist. Make sure it says on wrist. If it says on clip the HR is automatically turned off

Hello there!
I had this issue with my Fitbit, I think it started after last charging. The heart rate is gone, same with the green light. I tried the following:
- Switched the heart rate in the settings off and back on (nothing happens even if it is on all the time)
- Reeboting the device
- Connecting to charger again.
Still, no luck 😞 please help!

Mine worked fine until last night, had it for more than 2 years.
Also made sure the heart rate setting was turned on and have rebooted.
Please help
