My Inspire HR is not accurately tracking my sleep. Sometimes it doesn't track it at all! I have tried resetting it a few times, but that has not worked. HELP, PLEASE! Thanks!

Yes, I gave up entirely and stopped wearing the Fitbit because the strap
irritates my wrist more than the crappy fitbit itself!

You can buy a clip that it fits in and clip it to your waist band.  I usually keep mine in my pockets.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

To add to all the messages here, I have been wearing my Fitbit Inspire HR for 15 days and nights now and it has only given a reasonable record of my sleep patterns for 5 of those nights. I have tried the "fixes" suggested here but it nakes no difference.

The fact that the Fitbit helpers keep trotting out the same suggestions despite people saying that they're not working is really disappointing. There is obviously a problem so eithet come up with a genuine fix or stop selling it as a sleep tracker.

Given that the step counter is very optimistic too it'd be fair to say that I'm really disappointed - I'd love to exchange it for another brand but unfortunately I'm stuck with it.

Mine's in the drawer. Never worked! Spent many hours on the phone trying to
get it to work. What a joke!

Hi,
It’s so long ago. I reset it. & sometimes it doesn’t always track my sleep
accurately.
Try resetting. Fitbit do give you some guidelines on resetting.
Good luck

No I cannot fix my InspireHR Fitbit. I just do it manually when I awake in the morning however ME doing Manually DOES NOT GIVE ACCURATE REM/DEEP/AWAKE/LIGHT SLEEP TIMES?
It has not worked in one way or another either SYNCing, or the Sleep Problem, or the battery DOES NOT LAST 5 DAYS ITS LUCKY TO GET 24 HOURS. WITHOUT A BOOST!!!.

Still not very reliable but better when I turn it off and back on while it is plugged in. Hold down side tab until screen goes dark then let it up-you might see a smiley face and that seems to help it to be more accurate but you cannot rely on either the sleep mechanism or the exercise mechanism-they are often off by minutes and sometimes hours when it comes to my sleep.

Why doesn't the Fitbit Inspire track sleeping habits or a successful days targets (the little man running icon stat) when you use it on a clip?

Is your phone compatible? I spent about 10 total hours with "ambassadors"
before the 4th one finally admitted my phone wasn't compatible. They
strung me along that whole time and must have been laughing so hard at me.
I was ultimately inspired to put my "Inspire" in the drawer where it's
collecting dust.

I had same issue and wasn't tracking sleep for ages. I'm using an iPhone 11 and I think the reason was that the app wasn't running in the background as when I opened it everything synced and the sleeps showed from all of the missing days

I have done nothing different about the way I wear my fitbit to bed. It worked great for months and now the last week I dont get readings of my sleep. It's the reason I bought the fitbit. Why is this?

I've been wearing my fitbit HR Inspire for 4 weeks. It has managed to capture sleep data once. No matter what I do I cannot get it to recognize my sleep "automatically". None of the proposed fixes actually work. Can anyone from fitbit provide a  solution?

Your phone is probably not compatible with the watch. After spending at
least 6 hours with various people there, the last one finally admitted that
my Samsung just wasn't compatible. I got strung along for days. 😡 Look at
the fitbit website where they list which products work with each phone
model. My un-fitbit has been in a drawer for two years now. Good luck.

Hi, @BancroftStreet , from looking at your earlier posts I understand that you have a Samsung s10 or Samsung S10 e.  I am happy to let you know that Fitbit have confirmed that the devices now work with those phones.  Please see the moderator comment on this post .  If you have not had your Fitbit out in a while, I suggest updating your Fitbit app on your phone to the latest version and trying again.  If you continue to have difficulty please start a new thread in the forum and someone should be able to work with you to get it going.

Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android
