Inspire HR not tracking sleep

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi. My Inspire HR is very inconsistent about tracking sleep. When I first got it, it tracked very accurately for months. Since then, it usually only registers about half of the nights per week. I've tried resetting, hard resetting, adjusting the sleep sensitivity, etc. yet the problem still persists. Any thoughts on what might be the issue?

@trasera11 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!

Thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here.

Hope this helps.

Hi. This happened to me too. They logged me a support incident and after a series of activities asked me to return it for replacement. They replaced it and I received it yesterday after about 10 days. Unfortunately though, they replaced it with a refurbished device which is in an even worse state than the one I returned!! The HR tracker doesn’t work at all and the battery life is 11 hours. I had to charge it twice in a 24 hour period!!! They are now not returning any of my emails. Think carefully about returning your device!

@AlvaroFitbit So is there any fix to this? Like I mentioned, I've tried resetting. I already wear it on the non dominant hand. It worked just fine for months, but has been extremely inconsistent for the past few months.

@Ajtorrance thanks for the heads up! Ugh, that sounds like such a hassle. I will definitely proceed with caution if I get to that point.
