Recently, my Fitbit app prompted: “Location Access & Bluetooth Sharing - Set allow location access to Always.” I did so, but then my steps, time etc were messed up. When I look at my device, it shows a lot more options, (more than the basic clock, steps, miles) and my steps are way more than I actually took.
Do I delete my app, then re-load?
Thank you!!

@mgarring It's great to see you in the Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Fitbit app and Inspire HR showing different data and steps detection. Not sure what are the different items you are seeing on the app so please provide a screenshot of what you are seeing on the app. Also a picture of what you find strange or different on your Inspire HR as you don't provide details about this.
Regarding your step count, your device will detect the movement on your arm and translate that movement into steps. There are situations in which your arm may move but you won't be actually walking. For example, this may happen when you are playing the drums, burping a baby or clapping. It can also happen while driving. You can negate these steps by logging a driving activity. You can try wearing your device on your non-dominant hand but select that hand as dominant on the device’s settings to make it less sensitive to movement.
Let me know how it goes.
