Inspire HR- stats not logging/syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For the last few months, my Inspire HR has been saving my sleep only occasionally. I sync every two days or so, yet have 2+ week long gaps in my sleep tracking, and there's individual days that just don't sync too.

My hourly activity doesn't always get logged properly either.

I also have swaths of time where my heart rate doesn't properly sync- I get a resting bpm recorded in my stats but no "chart" so to speak.

I've tried resetting my phone, resetting my Inspire, disconnecting/reconnecting my Inspire...everything that I can think to do.

I've been waiting for software fixes, hoping they would fix it, but none of them have fixed it thus far.

Thanks.

Anyone have any ideas how to get it to sync properly? I never had these problems with my Alta and I'm starting to regret having switched...

@Emmysed Welcome to the Community.

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not tracking your sleep and heart rate and also your reminders to move not showing on your account. Your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here.

Regarding the heart rate data, I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.

Finally regarding the reminders to move, you can try removing this feature, save and sync then adding it back.

Let me know how it goes.

I never had a problem with sleep tracking on my alta- and don’t always have the problem with my inspire so it’s not a matter of too much movement. I’m aware I can manually log, but I use my sleep data to see how often I (unknowingly) wake up overnight- and manual logging doesn’t help with that.

I have already tried resetting my device- multiple times in fact.

 I already wear it on my non-dominant wrist.

 I clean the HR sensor somewhat regularly, and cleaning it doesn’t affect whether it tracks or not.

I’ve tried turning off and on both the heart rate and reminders to move without any affect.

It doesn’t seem like there’s any rhyme or reason as to when the stats do/don’t track- it’s been unaffected by my attempts to troubleshoot, and my attempts to use different sync methods (manual sync or auto sync).
