Inspire HR won't turn on

I put my Fitbit Inspire HR on the charger as I had previously done, but the display has stayed black, and it is randomly vibrating. Sometimes, a happy face will appear, then fades away and the screen stays black.

Thank you, it helped. But it is very frustrating that this happened three times already in the short time I have the Inspire HR. Bought it in August this year (2019).

Inspire HR does not come on

Just received a brand new Inspire HR, and I cannot get it to turn on.  When connected to the charger, it displays the percent charged, but nothing on the screen any other time.  The "reset" procedure has no effect.

I just bought a new inspire hr and during the initialization the screen turned black and it won’t even reset. I tried all the suggested steps

plugged in and then depree the power button for about a minute or till the
screen activates.

Spoiler
This has happened multiple times to me. One time I plugged it in synced it and it worked again this time I tried restarting and it worked. I hope this doesn’t happen again as this is my second Fitbit and I had to change because the last one had multiple problems to.

I'm having the same issue - going to try restarting it.

This is the second time I've experienced this issue, FYI, in case anyone from Fitbit is watching.

It's frustrating that I have to plug the tracker into the USB charger to reboot the thing, you'd think there'd be a way to do that when you're away from your charger...

Update: Of course a reboot fixed the tracker, but hopefully a firmware update resolves this issue.

I agree you should be able to.

Got mine for Christmas. Same issue. FitBit help desk had me install it from the app as a FitBit Inspire HR.

Installed fine from there

Changing the clock face worked!

Best Answer

I'll have to try changing the clock face from the app again to reset or kickstart the device.

I yet again had to restart my device, which means I had to go home and plug the tracker on its charger. What a pain...

Purchased Inspire model as a gift in April 2019. It was used sporadically by a child.  Fitbit Inspire stopped turning on in September.  When trying to reset, all I get is an occasional smiley face and brief pulses.  Tried multiple troubleshoots without any luck.  I gave Fitbit a shot; I guess I'll need to replace Fitbit with an AppleWatch.

Had to do it for a little bit longer, but I got it back on! Thank you.

I have done the required steps, several times, and...nothing. Help.

Did you try doing it for longer? Try 15-30 seconds

This didn't work. I tried to restart with OG plug about 5 or 6 times now, holding for 5 seconds.

After the 1st second or maybe on the 2nd second there is a quick buzz, but that's it.

Very annoying for how expensive it is and I haven't even taken it swimming.
