Hello to the community!
i have a question concerning linking several devices to one Fitbit account. I know it’s been possible to use several fitbits on one account (for daily use and workouts). With Versa and Charge 3 it changed coz they seem to have too similar OS. I was exited therefore to see a new slim tracker - Inspire - but when I chose to set up a new device the app only gave me the option to switch from Versa to Inspire 😞. So does it mean these two are not compatible or does Fitbit still plan at some point to allow the use of both?

In that case please tell me ALL the Fitbit models that are able to be easily added to same Fitbit account with already a Charge 4 in it. Hopefully you can provide the correct answer. Thank you so much.

Hi @ChargeHR-Betty - As I'm sure you've picked up in previous posts on this thread, you can only have one Fitbit "smart" tracker (that use the Fitbit gallery) on your account at any one time. I have one of these - a first generation Versa, which means I can't add any of the other newer trackers without deleting my Versa. But I am able to add older "legacy" trackers to the account! For me that means an old Charge HR, a Charge2, a Blaze and an Alta HR - so in total I now have 5 trackers on a single account, they all sync up, and I can switch off for yard work, dress, etc etc. But unfortunately these older trackers are not being sold by Fitbit anymore, so you have to go through eBay, Amazon, Craig's List or some other source to find them.
For me, this is a great workaround until Fitbit addresses this issue. Yes, I know it's frustrating, but this workaround keeps me in the Fitbit world, lets me keep up with my Fitbit friends on various challenges, and helps me keep motivated with step counts etc no matter which device I'm wearing.

So I had an AltaHR and and Ionic, which was perfect as one for general and one for exercises. My Alta died couple of months ago and recently my Ionic has shown issues. Can see decision day approaching when I will need to decide if move to another tracker that has a slimmer and exercise quality devices that can be active on same account or if to pay for a single FitBit.

I have had an inspire HR for years and used to have a versa. Versa broke so I got a new Versa 2 yesterday. Fitbit app will not let me have both set up which is a total waste! Wish I had known to research this first!

Please let us know. I just bought a versa 2 for swimming and can’t have it and an inspire Hr connected together. When I had a versa I could but it fell apart literally! Wish I had know as I wouldn’t have bought the versa 2

@pedirn @If your other Fitbit (besides your Versa 2) is a Charge HR or Charge 2, you should be able to combine the two on a single account just as you did original Versa. The combination I s not possible with Charge 3 or 4.
Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android

Thanks for pointing this out @Julia_G . While Fitbit no longer sells these legacy trackers, there's quite a lively market for them on Ebay (driven, I assume, by the inability to have more than one of the newer "smart" devices on the same account). Many sellers are offering Charge HR's, Charge 2, Blaze and Alta trackers, some used, some new and still in the box - all of these can be added to a single account. A good alternative until Fitbit addresses this issue. I am currently running a first gen Versa as my only smart device, but also have a Blaze, Charge 2, Alta HR and Charge HR on my account, and can seamlessly switch between them. I love my Versa for the gym, but my Alta is great for sleeping and when I want to wear a fancy wristwatch on my left arm. The Charge HR is my go-to for yard work!
