Good morning,
I have the Inspire HR screen disabled as I usually wear a watch on the other hand, and the bracelet’s main use is as tracker.
Although it’s disabled, sometimes it lights up when I do a sudden movement with my arm (no double tap or clicking the side button). It’s especially uncomfortable when sleeping, as sometimes moving myself the bracelet would be on and waking me up with the light.
Anyone has the same issue? Is there any setting to fully disable the screen (apart from the configuration setting on the bracelet) or dim the light to the minimum?
Thanks

Turning off the Screen Wake on the device in the settings below the battery icon does not work. Mine still turns on for no apparent reason. Just moving my arm turns on the screen.

Hi @AlexBarreras and @kym777 nice to see you again. Thanks for sharing your comments and feedback about this topic.
@kym777 Thanks for turning off the screen. I've passed this information to our team, they are currently investigating if we can change the sensitivity of the screen. Thanks for your feedback.
I'll be around.

I am frustrated I can’t turn the screen off at night on my Fitbit. I followed the directions and turned screen wake off. I also double checked that it was tight enough on my wrist and it STILL turns on every time I move my wrist. It makes no difference either way. I specifically bought my Fitbit in hopes of getting more sleep and instead I keep getting woken up by the screen. PLEASE fix this problem! From what I’ve read a lot of people have the same problem I do. I’m about to get rid of it. I’m going to try to tape something over it tonight, but I can’t keep doing it every night.

I wish this was the case. Turning it off does nothing. Comes on for me just as easily with it on or off. So frustrating.

Yes, this is extremely annoying! I'm a very light and poor sleeper and specifically wanted to use the fitbit stats to improve my sleep - but it glows and wakes me up EVERYTIME I MOVE. If it "knows" I am asleep, why doesn't it "know" not to turn the display on??
They absolutely need to provide a way to turn off the screen completely. I would think it could be programmed through the app with very little effort, but I see this has been an ongoing complaint in the community for many years. (That speaks a lot to Fitbit's customer commitment.)
I like the other features, but if I can't find a solution to this issue soon, I'm just going to stop wearing it at night.
