Fitbit Update 8/23/18:
Hey, everyone! Just wanted to thank you all for your participation in this thread.
Since the majority of Versa users have successfully updated to OS 2.1.1 (v32.32.10.15) I have decided to close this topic from further comments.
If you still have not updated your Versa to OS 2.1.1, check out this help article for how to update your device. Please complete this update so that you're prepared for the next release.
If you are experiencing an issue with your Versa unrelated to the firmware-up process, I invite you to start a new topic on the Community or find a related topic.
Thanks for all your feedback and contributions on this thread. We're looking forward to bringing you all the next Fitbit OS update!
Fitbit Update 05/11/2018: We have released Fitbit OS 2.1 to 100% of Versa users (Firmware Version: 32.32.10.15).
Hi, everyone!
I am excited to announce the release of Fitbit OS 2.1! (Firmware Version: 32.32.10.15)
We've started to roll out this update to 10% of Versa users. This is a progressive rollout, and all Versa users can expect to have it within a few weeks. We roll out releases in phases as a cautionary measure so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed.
WHAT’S NEW
Introducing quick replies. Send customized responses to text messages and messages from select messaging apps with your Fitbit watch. Note that this feature is currently only available on watches paired to an Android phone. For more information, see How do I respond to messages with my Fitbit watch?
WHAT’S FIXED
This release includes other bug fixes and improvements.
Step by step instructions for updating your Versa can be found here.
I recommend updating your Versa over a home Wi-Fi network as this can greatly reduce the time it can take to get set up. For more information on connecting your Versa to Wi-Fi, check out this article.
If you run into any trouble updating your Versa, I can also recommend reviewing these troubleshooting tips.
Looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback on the latest release. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know!

Confirmed that the customize stats is still broken. As soon as it syncs, the settings are reverted.

Me too, received the update this afternoon. All went OK., only like you I was thinking we'll get the last update, 10.20 but I also get 10.15.
I'm in Canada.
Is this a reason for that? Some of the FitBit guys around here have an answer? We know that 10.15 has some problems.
Thanks, Luc

No, it's not. After >1.00, I opted out. Factory reset, needed to tell my app I have a new versa. 2.00hrs later, the firmware cannot load; my versa cannot be found, etc. So dissppointing.

Still doesn't fix the GPS connectivity issues. And now I don't receive text notifications (email and calls work fine). What's the deal?

So I was also able to follow the instructions and successfully forced the new FW 32.32.10.20 to install. Even though I had no real issues before (sometimes slower comm with the phone, less sensitive sleep tracking) the new FW is definitely better, also like the updated notification design and I have a feeling the comm with phone is again a bit better, faster and generally more stable.
And the very cool thing is that if you dismiss a notification on Versa it is dismissed on the phone as well! That did not work on iOS before.

After initially trying to do the update yesterday, the watch would not update at all over night. I used Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth, still no success. This morning I turned off the watch and restarted my cell phone. After I turned the watch back on I cleared the cache on the watch. The update restarted at the same midpoint it was at, and within 10 minutes finished the installation of the update. All is well.

Can someone tell me if this OS 2.1 update resolves the midnight re-zeroing of the step counter. The WHATS FIXED section of the Release Notes fairly useless... they're more like Lets See What Happens Notes

My Versa updated and is starting the counter over at zero as expected. No issues now.

How long does this update take? Mine has been updating for 2 hours and the bar on the screen does not show any progress...

Mine has updated to 32.32.10.15 but I still don't get notifications. I have reset the watch, removed the watch off Bluetooth, rebooted phone, removed all data in settings, removed the app. rebooted the phone and watch. and then re done the whole thing again. 4 times and still no joy at all.

Re: 32.32.10.15
Finally received the update through the app myself, and I do love the new notification system!
Haven't run into any of the major issues described yet, it seems to save my settings and I do get all of the notifications I want.
That said, @AlessFitbit, here is a list of things I did notice:
RE: 32.32.10.20
I don't really understand why some people are suddenly seeing this new version pop up, when .15 is apparently still being rolled out.
Shouldn't the in-app update also go up to .20 now if that fixes some unexpected issues?

I was unable to complete my update. Now the update tracker option is gone. What can I do?

Just an update. Note 8 here on Android 7.1.1. I get phone calls (just tested my first one), but can only reject. I get no green answer icon as seen above in the fellow member's picture.
@JanetMarieG, do a factory reset and follow the instructions on my long post here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa/Versa-Firmware-Release-32-32-10-15/td-p/2690045/page/11

I think maybe the text reply is only for Android but Fitbit doesn’t tell us that. 🙁

The text replies are not available for iOS users because of Apple's strict lock on their software. This has been discussed repeatedly in these forums since the release and also shown on their website and commercials with * at the bottom before release. I know many of you don't watch YouTube reviews before buying products, but that's the definition of thorough research; every big event has pre-release invites to top reviewers in car companies, tech companies, makeup companies, health companies, etc. All of this goes online months before official release. Every big YouTube tech channel has explained that quick replies will not be available on iOS, but will be for Android only. At 1:00, it tells you with the * at the bottom, 'Only on Android, available in Spring.' Fitbit wasn't released until April 15-16. The commercial (not the first) below was released March 29.

@snowqueen81, read my long post on page 11 to force update: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa/Versa-Firmware-Release-32-32-10-15/td-p/2690045/page/11
Use Wifi. This is the fastest way. You need to have your wireless internet on 2.4ghz band because smartwatches, printers, etc. can only connect to 2.4ghz a/b/g (most common), n (fastest but not very common). In your router, you cannot have the channel settings set to 2.4ghz(n only) - your watch will never connect to this. Everyone that is not tech savvy, please read and understand this.
