Fitbit Update 8/23/18:
Hey, everyone! Just wanted to thank you all for your participation in this thread.
Since the majority of Versa users have successfully updated to OS 2.1.1 (v32.32.10.15) I have decided to close this topic from further comments.
If you still have not updated your Versa to OS 2.1.1, check out this help article for how to update your device. Please complete this update so that you're prepared for the next release.
If you are experiencing an issue with your Versa unrelated to the firmware-up process, I invite you to start a new topic on the Community or find a related topic.
Thanks for all your feedback and contributions on this thread. We're looking forward to bringing you all the next Fitbit OS update!
Fitbit Update 05/11/2018: We have released Fitbit OS 2.1 to 100% of Versa users (Firmware Version: 32.32.10.15).
Hi, everyone!
I am excited to announce the release of Fitbit OS 2.1! (Firmware Version: 32.32.10.15)
We've started to roll out this update to 10% of Versa users. This is a progressive rollout, and all Versa users can expect to have it within a few weeks. We roll out releases in phases as a cautionary measure so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed.
WHAT’S NEW
Introducing quick replies. Send customized responses to text messages and messages from select messaging apps with your Fitbit watch. Note that this feature is currently only available on watches paired to an Android phone. For more information, see How do I respond to messages with my Fitbit watch?
WHAT’S FIXED
This release includes other bug fixes and improvements.
Step by step instructions for updating your Versa can be found here.
I recommend updating your Versa over a home Wi-Fi network as this can greatly reduce the time it can take to get set up. For more information on connecting your Versa to Wi-Fi, check out this article.
If you run into any trouble updating your Versa, I can also recommend reviewing these troubleshooting tips.
Looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback on the latest release. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know!

Since the firmware update, I no longer receive notifications. First, it was only the vibrations that were missing. I followed all of the instructions on the different threads in the forum. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice. I factory reset the Versa three different times. After one reset, I was getting vibrations on everything but texts. Now, I am not receiving any notifications at all. I am "all caught up" all the time. It was fine before, so I know it's not my phone or the watch. I am blaming the firmware update. Please do something. I have done all I can.

Ok can someone try the following who cant receive notifications etc. I have been testing and found this way to work
I deleted the versa in the fitbit app and re added it But this time I skipped setting up wifi. So far today it has worked every email, text, call.
If others could try skipping the setting up wifi then fitbit could then work on why wifi stops the watch from receiving notifications.
I hope this helps people

Not impressed with the firmware update, my versa worked perfectly fine before now I have to restart my tracker to sync and this doesn't always work, I've tried two phones and a computer, I've deleted app, deleted device and reinstalled and still get a message saying can't find tracker, I've restarted phone checked for updates on phone (Galaxy S8) it's really frustrating please sort it out ASAP, I've never had an issue before started with Flex, then Alta and now, upgraded not because there was an issue with the trackers, they were donated to my teenages, but because I liked the features of trackers.

I updated my versa today to the 32.32.10.15 version. I'm able to set up my default quick replies, but when I receive a text, I don't actually have the option to reply. I'm only able to select "Mark as Read" or "Clear". I have an android (Samsung Galaxy S5). Can you tell me why this option is not available to me?

Probably a dumb question but how will I find out that the update has been released to me to be installed? Where can I find what version I am running on now?

You will see a banner in the app. You won’t miss it, it is pretty obvious when it is there. You can see what version you have on your versa by going into the settings app, scroll down to about and tap that option.

@janetaro When you get the update, you will see a big pink download arrow when you open the app. Normally on the top, where it says pull down to sync, there's a big pink arrow and you can click on that. Or just click on your Versa image in the top left corner and click Update Tracker.
You can can check which version you have by:
opening the Fitbit app
click on Fitbit image (top left corner)
next to your Fitbit image it will say your version.
OR
go to your Versa device and go to settings.
scroll down to About
click on that and the first thing you should see is your version.

Hi, everyone!
On Friday (5/11), we released Fitbit OS 2.1 to 100% of Versa users (Firmware Version: 32.32.10.15).
Some of you may have updated to (Firmware Version: 32.32.10.20). It is expected behavior for some of you to be on different firmware versions. We apologize for any confusion,
I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. We always monitor the performance of each firmware update very closely and make adjustments when necessary.
We're aware there has been some difficulty with call and text notifications on Android, with this release. Please stay tuned for more information.

“We wanted to give our ALL OF OUR customers our most updated software experience”
would be a better message. But I understand you are just a messenger.
Earlier in this thread, after several reversals, you mentioned that this release fixed the issue of custom exercise stats not saving. That is not the case for many of us. Any insight on this other than “stay tuned for further info/updates”?
I see you mention known issues with call/text notifications for Android with this release. How about those of us with iPhones who are now experiencing connection/notification issues with this release (but not before)?
Yes, I can reboot the watch/phone, turn BT on/off, delete/reinstall, log in/out and do the hokey pokey every few hours to keep it “fixed” but all of that nonsense wasn’t necessary prior to installing this update.

Newest customers? What about those of us who have stuck with the company (I’ve been using a Fitbit since 2011) and have put up with disintegrating Basics, recalled Surges, and various flaws, software problems etc. etc. And, do you ever send out new trackers to beta testers? One overnight and I could have told you about the sleep tracking problems. I hereby volunteer to be a tracker beta tester!

@AlessFitbit Once again, I would like to know why you told us the customized exercise stats would be fixed when they are not? Will they be fixed in this mysterious upcoming second firmware release that's only for new customers?

@AlessFitbit with this new update, some of my notifications are disappearing, I get them and I check to see if they are in the pull-down notification thing and they are but like 5 minutes later they disappear. Is anyone else noticing this?

I noticed that after the update that all notifications work, but they disappear from the versa once they are cleared off of the phone. I dont think that was the behavior before the update.

Everything I have read that is the way the Versa is supposed to work. If you clear a message from your phone or answer the message it will be taken off the Versa. If you clear the message from your Versa and the notice that you have a message is cleared from your phone. Hope this helps.

I did all this too in hopes of pushing the .20. No luck. Only issue I'm trying to correct is not getting quick replies to show on the watch. I see the option on the app & i am also using the default msg app for my android.

I have been running my versa with no problems for the last 24 hours, anyone that does not get notifications please try
I deleted the versa in the fitbit app and re added it But this time I skipped setting up wifi. So far today it has worked every email, text, call.
If others could try skipping the setting up wifi then fitbit could then work on why wifi stops the watch from receiving notifications.
The ONLY problem I have had was I changed the colour on the watch and didn't receive notications I restarted the watch and phone and working fine. I have messaged Fitbit with what I have done and how so hopefully it will help them to fix this error
